@beapot..Couldn't agree more with the casting of Lois. Erica Durance portrayed Lois Lane perfectly - she really gave a new sort of aspect to the role which a lot of people loved. Amy Adams just seems like a terrible choice to me, she doesn't match Lois Lanes persona at all.

@1991MRjesse maybe but the fact is tht he is 34 years old and u could tell he was kinda chunky in the the final series, if he ddnt want to wear the duit then he ddnt want to wear the suit. but the fact is tht fans built an image of him in the suit up in there heads for so long tht anything they were given would have been a let downs which is why i think it beter for it to be left up to imagination cos imagination is limitless. i thinkg the edning was great and needed nothing else.

However i remember reading a interview with Tom Welling saying he wants to do a Smallville movie later down the road where he can don the suit or something possible related to making another Superman movie that's seperated from Nolan's work and he DID say he would wear the suit.

Not dissapointed at all with this new guy, and I love Reeve, we grew up with him, we sat in our livingroom with family as kids and he became a part of us in a way so no one will ever fill his shoes but Brandon surprised me and I had never seen him before.

the problems with the film had nothing to do with the casting choice. in my opinion it fell apart because the film makers had no problem ripping off the original mario puzo SM script. also how in hell can a being constructed of entirely different DNA impregnate a human woman. If they were making this film for the new generation why start him off as a father. and Kevin Spacey gave his worst performance probably because he was aware that his dialogue was all plaguerised. Routh wasn't the problem.

He doesn't look like Reeve at all. Brandon has a longer face and nose, brown eyes, while Christopher had a wider, stronger face structure, shorter nose and blue eyes. Many of you should pay more attention before writing nonsense.

And sorry, but Brandon is a very mediocre actor, that's why he's not a star like other actors of his generation and does little roles in shows like Chuck, sad but true. Thank goodness the reboot has nothing to do with SR and Nolan/Snyder are starting fresh!

He looks and sounds a lot like Reeve. However, he's too young-looking in my opinion. They didn't develop him as CK very well, and the differences in the suit are very noticeable. Mostly how the new one is very tight around the neck. This to me, was a small but very important detail in the suit that made CK and Superman more indistinguishable. The the collar so high up, he looks too much like Clark Kent. I dunno, maybe I'm just overly picky. I just don't think anyone could fill Reeve's shoes.

I agree with you. the first 2 X-Mens were good and the rest, X3 and Wolverine were garbage. And I enjoyed Superman Returns too. It was soft and sweet, but remained true to the character. It wasn't Christopher Reeves charming, but it was still good. Routh has a good quality. Singer also loves Superman and has much respect for the character.

and Dark Knight wasn't all that. besides ledger, it was exposition and they totally KILLED Two-Face's character. And Rachel Dawes is a terrible gf.

i don't think xmen 3 was garbage, but it wasn't as good as the 1st 2. it seemed rushed. i'd give it 2 outta 4 stars. i liked wolverine as well. i thought the dark knight was great. it is a complex and deep story. its was less comicbook movie and more crime drama. it made me want to go watch heat. heath was superb but the movie would have been great without him. the only comicbook movies i've seen that i think sucked were captn america, fantistic 4 crow city of angels and sin city.

Honestly, I think Heat was a much better movie than TDK. That's just my opinion, because I

1) Couldn't stand Bale's voice

2) Didn't need the plot described to me

3) didn't like how the good villains die in 15 min (Ras + Two face) You are smart for not watching the Spirit IT BLEW. And Halle Berry didn't even play "Selina Kyle". So I'm pretending that's doesn't count.

I hope the new Green Lantern is good -- even though I think Ryan Reynolds SCREAMS Flash over Hal Jordan.
