Not only the pressure but at some point it is going to be so hot that that powder will ignite and fire the bullet as if it was struck by the hammer. If you take a string and an eletric stove and hold the string on long enough it will begin to smoke and, eventually, catch fire. I have alot of time to try this sorta stuff.
