Dunno if you realize or not, but this is for the original BBC version and there is also an American version. The three main characters have been the same for all three series. I haven't seen anything from series 4 yet, but I doubt they changed.

I watched this show by mistake and loved it. can't wait for the new season. This and trueblood got me definitely hooked. This show is actually a little more funny and silly, so I think it kind of compliments the whole genre of vampire and the supernatural
