@stucerocks I think it was just him having fun with it. I'm sure you know that it's not really a Lady Gaga cover as much as him just messing around with their own song. Chinese Arithmetic is the track theyre playing and it shamelessly has the same beat signature of that douchebags pop garbage. I was kind of surprised to hear them cover "Easy", but that went over well. I've learned with Patton to not to expect the norm...just look at the third Tomahawk album.

Think how many more amazing Primus and FNM albums we could have had had those guys been more devoted to their primary bands. @trophyloaf even though modern dance/pop music is definitely CORNY AS HELL, it takes talent to write songs as catchy as poker face, or vogue, or beat it, etc, etc. Even if musically its not particularly impressive like say Faith No More for instance. Imo its important to recognize that there are certain qualities to be respected in all genres. What it all comes down to in the end is that music is totally subjective.
