A pretty decent video compilation you've put together there. If it was Edited using Final Cut on a Mac, you could have faded out that intrusive wind-noise in the part where you are shown backing multiple trailers, by dragging down the rubber bands in the audio timeline. However if this was edited using a different system, you may not have had that ability. Lovely choice of music. You're obviously well skilled in your craft. I wish you all the best in future. "Kia Kaha !" from Cath in Kiwi-land
you know if some of you think you are better then him post a video or shut your mouth. after seeing some of you big time wanker's on the overnight stuff are just friggin clowns, that should of never been given a licence in the first place.
What amazes me is that all of these "different" vehicles have the steering wheel, brake pedal, clutch, etc. in all the same places and you find it necessary to point out that you can drive them all. Congratulations you're a truck drive that can drive a truck!! Hip hip hooray!!!!
An employer that looks at this and see's that not once have you got your seat belt on is going to think you have no problem breaking the law and think of you as a liability
Stay where you are the grass isnt always greener on the other side unles you can get youre curent job back which it sounds like that shouldnt be a problem.

Very fresh, very cool idea. Sorry to hear about your job brother...but with the views this has gotten, there has to be something opening up for you. Good luck to you sir.
There's alot of good money in truck driving jobs if you work the hours, You can easily make 100 grand a year doing truck driving jobs or any transportation jobs In the usa, Decent living in the u.s only requires 10 grand a year or more, That's it.
This is a brilliant idea as a resume, and really does speak for one's ability to do whatever they're good at.
my dad drove big rigs for a living, and I struggle at times just backing a regular trailer, nevermind doubles, or a triple. that good sir, is talent. here in the states, that'd guarantee a job almost with any company.
Kudos and much respect. I wish I was in a position to hire you. Great driving skills. My bro is an x-trucker. I think he would agree. As they say in french "bon chance", as I say in English, best of luck - you deserve it.
Few people possess a skill which they can actually show. Fewer still possess a level of skill that could be admired. I don't think you will ever have a problem getting hired. Perhaps you should teach new drivers.
Wow. I didn't even know it was possible to back doubles or triples for more than a few feet! Impressive. Makes me feel like a wimp because I am proud of being able to back my F-150 and a U-Haul trailer into a parking space! Good job! I hope you find what you are looking for; you are an artist!
keep you job man. here in europe its hard to get a dood job as trucker. ok is alot of god trucks but long driving dinstances and winter with ice and other stuff are hard.
How can you dislike this kind of talent? I have so much respect for all road train drivers and the talent they develop to survive in the outback with the trucks and loads.
nice..i drive truck and super dog , i imagine a double would be similar to back .. a triple on th other hand hehe would take a lot more skill , top driver
@iamcyberpunk68 BAHAHAHAHAHAHHA. This comment is possibly by far the funniest thing I have ever read. You're telling one person to get an education? Try learning how to spell the word "consider" properly first. Some grammar might do some good too, Chief.
Head to Western Australia driving M/C and you'd make $2,500 clear.. My make and his wife do 1 run a day from the depo to the mines and together clear over 5k a week. That about 10k U.S ...lol

Dude, that is some of the most professional and skillful driving I have seen in this industry in a looooong time. Best of luck to you sir, whatever you find from here on out you've earned, and then some.
@wrdshmn IMHO he should be able to write his own check. see his video of him backing the tanker into the shed. that TRULY was not laid out for big trucks?
@wrdshmn Hey... you seem to be experied in truck driving.. Im going last year on "college" or w/e it's called XD and im going the line to be a truck driver... but Im REALY nervous about these drive and rest times and so on... feels like I would fail so hard on it... got any tip? did you feel the same way?^^
@Bonaqua1337 I was VERY nervous when I first began. I had no experience even in blue-collar jobs, as I was a journalist for five years before training to drive (long story lol). The best advice I can tell you is to get with a company that has excellent equipment your first year or two. Typically companies like this have good equipment because they pay poorly, but you're far less likely to have an accident in their trucks. Drive conservatively, get no tickets, then CASH IN at a good company.
Great driving hand. I didn't understand the lights there . I could not drive there for in the USA a red light means no go to stop. In your country you went thru it. Must bed red for go. Just noticed in the video .
good driving man, liked seeing you back the triples, im in the states and used to pull double pneumatic bulks not easy at all, took me almost a year to get that down to be comfortable backing. great driving forget what others have to say.
Looks great backing up the multiples; the way 5th wheels are set up here in US, you can only back multiples for a few yards, and then only in a straight line....it's like trying to push a rope. Looks awesome here...
Why are people so quick to throw insults around, this guy is obviously a nice normal decent feller who is just trying to earn a living like the rest of us. He's probably not perfect and probably makes mistakes. People are so quick to to judge others, this guy is probably paying all his taxes and doing everything legally, he's not sponging off the state and has tried to do something to move forward in his life and he has done it without hurting anybody else in the process. Good luck to you mate..
Either the back trailor lights are fucked or you forgot to indicate coming out of the roundabout, lucky the lady didn't walk out infront of you thinking you wern't turning eh ;)
@Armed2Truck 40% and 10% where did you pull these stats ? Your ass? So when sombody sits this guy down and say well ... we watched your vids and you did an illegal turn from a roundabout what do you have to say about it ? in repley you think he should say, well 40 % of em dont do it so why should I ? .... Just shut up please
@Armed2Truck I'm not doubting his truck driving skills, I'm doubting whether or not this would be an acceptable video resum'e and i'm doubting your ability to hold an argument without making bullshit up.
Lets say for example you're typing up a resum'e just because you make spelling mistake's everyday doesn't mean you dont correct them on a fucking resum'e.
How easy would it for the uploader to see this comment and say, hang on this guys right and edit that part out or maybe replace it.
Certainly look like you know what you're doing behind the wheel, and it looks lime you take excellent care of your trucks, the video is a good idea, but would be more professional without the music and you wearing your seatbelt. Safety is a pretty major deal nowdays.
how did i get here

Either the back trailor lights are fucked or you forgot to indicate coming out of the roundabout, lucky the lady didn't walk out infront of you thinking you wern't turning eh ;)

@abarford1 i dont know where your from but like 40% of the australian population dont indicate,10% do and the rest are from overseas.
Armed2Truck 9 months ago
@Armed2Truck 40% and 10% where did you pull these stats ? Your ass? So when sombody sits this guy down and say well ... we watched your vids and you did an illegal turn from a roundabout what do you have to say about it ? in repley you think he should say, well 40 % of em dont do it so why should I ? .... Just shut up please
abarford1 9 months ago
@abarford1 Im saying that because he drives all day everyday he may make 1 or two errors and you instantly think Stereotypical scenario's.
I bet if you tried to do his job you wouldn't be able to do it. it takes skill.
Armed2Truck 9 months ago
@Armed2Truck I'm not doubting his truck driving skills, I'm doubting whether or not this would be an acceptable video resum'e and i'm doubting your ability to hold an argument without making bullshit up.
Lets say for example you're typing up a resum'e just because you make spelling mistake's everyday doesn't mean you dont correct them on a fucking resum'e.
How easy would it for the uploader to see this comment and say, hang on this guys right and edit that part out or maybe replace it.

@abarford1 I'd give him a job straight away. He's gentle on gear and gets it all neat and tidy

Certainly look like you know what you're doing behind the wheel, and it looks lime you take excellent care of your trucks, the video is a good idea, but would be more professional without the music and you wearing your seatbelt. Safety is a pretty major deal nowdays.
