TheHorrorBeast....I must disagree. As much as I hate fanboyism (and I strongly believe that it is, it most cases, nothing more than someone trying to justify their purchase), exclusives allow developers to focus on a single console and get the most out of it. Multi-platform games on PS3 are essentially 360 ports, and often look somewhat inferior (especially with the Unreal Engine) but when you look at the exclusives for the PS3, they are unmatched. The technologies running games are amazing.

I am a PS3 owner here, and I will say that this game looks amazing. If only we lived in a world where ''exclusives'' didn't exist. Then fan boys wouldn't exist and then the world would be a better place :) Just imagine if you could play Uncharted, Heavy Rain or Killzone on your XBOX360 and if we could play Halo and Gears Of War and this on our console, plus way more exclusives for you and us. If only the world was like that..

Alan Wake is Played like a TV show with "episodes" and Heavy Rain is Played through the characters eyes, with decisions that diverge the plot as a whole. I don't exactly see how they are similar other than the fact they they both most likely have an incredible plot and good story telling.

sorry to disappoint u, but the makers of heavy rain are quantum games, and they made a game similar to heavy rain on the ps2 called "Fahrenheit" that plays out pretty much the same as heavy rain, so when they made heavy rain they were making another game in the type that they specialize in, so alan wake is merely a copy of not heavy rain since u said it was announced first but it is a copy of the type of work quantum games does, since Fahrenheit was introduced first
