Since humans walked this earth..some 16000 or so years ago..there has been and always will be homosexual males and females here. This story isnt fresh. Its obvious. Of course there were homosexuals in Gold Rush California..also in the Army..as a cowboy...Indian Fighter..Trapper...Scout..and Merchant. BTW..Doesnt Billy The Kid look like a female?? Glenn Close should look into it.

american mexican war ended in 1850 - one year later 1851 gold is found in cali,,boy oh boy,,if that gold was found earlier,,, i dont think that war would have ended then!

If you check the old book, BIG OAK FLAT ROAD TO YOSEMITE, by Paden & Schlichtmann, chapter 8, you will find an excellent description of the couple. There are pictures of them in the book, as well. The story of their love and devotion to one another is truly inspirational.
