Yes it is beautiful but not as beautiful as a piano. Why don't these tappers just play piano. I don't get it. I don't mean to insult of take away from what he has accomplished but flamenco guitar is much more tone full and complex. We watch because it's shocking. Is that what guitar has come to? Playing the instrument in the way it's designed to work is too dull. There is an instrument called a chapman stick that is designed for this method of playing. Why do they not use that instrument.

@BillJohnsonBlues They're doing it because they obviously like the sound and style that they've accomplished. To say that playing piano is more beautiful is completely subjective. I don't enjoy this performance because it's complex but because I actually enjoy the music. These players prefer the guitar over the piano, it's as simple as that, there's no sense in over analyzing it.

I've played for 17 years and have seen and heard many guitarists and I personally used to play Andy Timmons stuff by ear and Satriani and all that and I must say that this guy deserves alot of credit because most guitarists cannot play like him even with a guitar pick little alone using piano tapping technique and on the spot without many ( if any effects on his rig.) Someone please sign this guy or notice him. He deserves it!

I have no idea how that's possible. It doesn't make sense that the strings can be so sensitive that a little tap makes them sing but at the same time there's no residual noise when his fingers leave the string.
