  • do you know of anywhere i can get a tamed fox?

  • I'm curious if I can get a silver fox as a pet and i know its now legal to own one but if I REALLY want one I'm going to have to find a breeder and work up the money, Faybee is a beautiful creature! And 14 years? Thats pretty good!

  • You can now get a new domesticated fox legal but they cost a lot

  • '

is that pet legal or wild

  • @bestamerica It's a domesticated silver fox. The breed is from Russia.

  • how exactly do u get to own a fox?

  • usually animals get nervous while riding a car, but i cant say it to this fox, looks relaxed

  • where abouts are you from? cuz i live in vancouver and ive been searching for a fox breeder, and have come up with no luck :(

  • Pittsburgh, PA. I dont know where you could find a breeder in Canada. The place Faybee came from is no longer in existence.

  • oh, well im able to get one from the states, thats not that big of an issue. i just cant find any breeders :'(

  • Really? why not?

  • I know this is old but in indiana there is a breeder that has silver foxes. idk how you would get permission to move the fox from country to country. but if you need the breeders url pm me

  • aww :)

  • man she's so beatiful and cute!

  • I always held the belief that wild animals are much hardier than domestic, which may have also contributed to her longevity. She could also eat ANYTHING with no consequence.

  • well, I think ALL animals are wild actually. They're born like that. So, it's up to us to tame them if we want them as mates. I don't think it's harder and easier...just pick a cub and tame it, and that do the trick to me

  • Wow, she was socialized very well and obviously trusted you completely, especially for not being spayed. It's terrible that you lost her but living to be 14 obviously meant you put a lot of time into her well-being.

  • no she was not spayed, despite this she lived to a very old 14 1/2 years.

  • did u have to spay or nuder your fox?

  • Wow, I wish our dog was as well behaved as she is in the car.
