  • Where is Judy?? Gosh what a gip.

  • Thanks for posting this. It's fun and informative. But it was heavy on Bob Hope and NO JUDY.

  • yeah where is judy thats the reason i watched this but i cant see her

  • thankyou for sharing :) BUT WHERE WAS JUDY GARLAND?!?

  • BTW, where's the part with Judy Garland? I must have blinked and missed it!

  • yeah, i looked thru them all slowly... shes not in this video... but she did entertain the troops at some point. i know that.

  • @jennysimply yeah, i've been sitting here watching the whole things waiting and waiting for judy! she's not in here! she did entertain troops quite a lot. thanks, though! great videos!

  • As a child, I didn't have enough respect or understanding for what my grandpa and others in the service did during this time in our history. He had a display cabinet where he kept all his war memorabilia and my brothers and I would get into his stuff and play with it as if it were toys. One time we had one of his bayonets and were throwing it at a tree making it stick. He caught us and got real mad!

  • I'm sorry, Grandpa. If I could do it all over I would be a better grandson and treat you with the respect you deserve.

  • Great show, thanks for posting! Sometimes I wish that I would have asked my grandparents to tell more stories of this era while they were still alive. I suppose I probably thought that kind of stuff was boring when I was a kid but now I think it would have been a great way to connect with them. I miss them. :'-(

  • You're not alone in your sentiments. It seems that we don't take an interest in the past until it is too late to ask the very people who could have told us about it. I can think of so many things that I wish I had asked my grandmothers about, but now it is too late. On the other hand, if we were to get the chance to ask our grandparents the things we want to know, we might be disappointed in their reluctance to talk about the past. Just a thought.
