AS much as I love the croc, I think he's kind of a sadistic bully. After rewatching this movie, I get the feeling that he's not just hanging around Hook to eat him, but because he knows Hook is scared shitless of him, the crocodile enjoys tormenting the captain.

In this metaphor what Hook fears is not the Croc, but time itself and that the croc's tick,tick,ticking reminds him that time is catching up to him and he is growing older as everyone else, except Peter Pan

In my childhood days, I enjoyed watching the Walt Disney Peter Pan. I'm not a big fan of the character Peter Pan or the other kids, but my favorite is Mr. Smee, James Hook, and my top fav, Mr. Gin! (a.k.a Tick Tock the Crocodile) :D

@JerTheRobot Someone ought to make a story based on Mr. Gin's side of the story! I'd love that! He's such a key part of the story, and yet, so unappreciated. It seems many people love Peter Pan, or Tinker Bell, and then to a lesser degree feel sorry for James Hook, but I hardly see people talk about Mr. Gin... :(
