  • aww so pretty!

  • Funny, I just got the same comb the other day at Sally's, and I love it to for the same reasons.

  • Nice texture, its cute

  • Beautiful.

  • Love this! I'm going to try it out tonight. What brand of activator gel did you use? Was it smooth and shine?

  • Thumbs up, i like it. And in a couple more yrs of being natural when your hair picks up more and more inches this same style is gonna be the bommmmmmmmmmmmmb:):) Keep it up

  • I used your video as a guide. Thank you. Today was my first time doing curls since I have been natural.

  • Wow. Loved it

  • i love how you talk and love the hair!!

  • i need help. I been natural for 2 years but it seems like some of my hair is still not curling when i was it. could it still be growing out or heat damage?

  • Looks fantastic :-)

  • so pretty

  • Wow your curls are thick! It's pretty (:

  • nice!

  • Awwww. Very pretty, and I shall try to buy some of this tomorrow.

  • I thought I was the only one who discovered that the ecostyler and the activator works wonders together! LOL! I'll have to try your mixture on my daughter's hair! Thanks for sharing! :D

  • I love this hairstyle-can this be done with any natural hair? Also how long does this last? Thank you for this very helpful video!

  • looks great, but try make a part at the side then swoop for a better style

  • Your Pretty :)

  • i love your hair!

  • can i use the eco styler without oive oil to get the same results.

  • That is absolutely amazing! My little sister is still natural and I am trying to find hairstyles to do that will show her how beautiful her hair is. My hair was just like hers before my relaxer. How long does this typically last?

  • How long did it take you to get your hair to this length because I'm about 4 to 5 months in with my natural hair and I am totally lost about how to style it! I feel a little discouraged but I'm trying to hang in and stay away from the perms and flat irons.

  • cool vid, now i'll have a new idea and i can show my sister because her has a lot of different textures too and her curls like yours will be BEAUTIFUL

  • But right now I only have the pink one and activator so ima try it

  • I wanted to try this so I wouldn't have to get more gel I like the blue ecostyler for stuff like this and the pink one for hold

  • this style looks so good on you!!

  • How do you wash the gel i used it but it turn white and flaky when i washed it any suggestions thank you your hair looks great!

  • this is really pretty i just cut off my relaxed ends yesterday and i feel so much better..i really dnt want to style it yet because i dont have everything i want but i do have my eco styler gel and like i said this is really pretty on you hope it works for me:)

  • After you did that syle was your hair kind of har or soft?

  • what is ur hair type

  • @xxDcarlaxxD She already answered that same exact comment 8 months ago.... its in the uploader comments

  • now I finally see how to work with gel and my hair THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • Fantastic! Love it! I can't wait to try it with my natural hair!

  • So Cute. Very helpful tutorial.

  • thank you so much for the tutorial!

  • I love this! I am a college student with not a lot of time, but my hair is BEYOND natural. I have realllllly thick hair but it looks short because I always pack it down in the morning because it's so unmanageable. This seems like a easy process. I'm not the one to "do hair" so I'm hoping that this will pull through for me. Thanks for posting this!!

  • My hair has 2 different textures. Soft, non-coarse until you get to the ends where it is really dry and parched and frizzy. It takes a lot to get the frizz out and sometimes even that doesn't work. I'm going to try the EcoStyler Olive Oil stuff though. Sounds like it would work for the ends of my hair. What I have been doing is using flat irons and sometimes doubling that with a really hot curling iron on the ends of my hair. I'm in frustration mode right now, have it in a ponytail.

  • Gorgeousl hair!

  • what is your hair type? :)

  • Fantastic!! I usually just rake a bit through with my fingers. Your technique looks so much better. I am going to try it. Thank you so much!!

  • DANG GIRL, YOUR HAIR IS GORGEOUS!!!

  • pretty !

  • this technique totally works. I tried it

  • Your hair kind of looks like mine, just a lot more thick! Thanks for this, it's beautiful.

  • Love how it turn out...

  • Lol, cute accent.

  • Wow! Your wash and go was soo pretty! I love it! When it gets warmer I will definetly try this! Thanks so much for the tips:)

  • I've been using Proclaim activator gel for about 2 years now and I love it! People always want to know what I use in my hair and they cannot believe it when I say I use activator gel and I let them touch it to show it's not wet and greasy. I used to use their Aloe gel with the Natural & oil underneath, but the longer my hair got, the less I liked the feel of it. I never thought about mixing it with the Eco Styler Olive Oil gel though. Thanks for sharing.

  • Ur hair turned out so pretty!

  • How wet is your hair afterwards?

  • Thanks everybody for the wonderful comments. Stay tuned. I will be doing an updated wash n go routine really soon.

  • @NaturalNola86 WHAT DO YOU USE AGAIN SPRITS AND GEL? WHAT KIND I LOVE YOUR HAIR MINES IS LIKE THAT JUS SHORTER BUT I HAVE MORE CURLS IN FRONT THEN IN THE BACK.

  • I'm going to try that. Your hair looks fabulous.

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIR! Be Blessed!

  • @Forever4givenGG Thank you

  • What is ur hair texture?

  • @akaRobyn My hair has so many textures it is crazy. Not at all sure but I will try to describe it. The sides are coarse, not as easy to define, and tight, I think they 4a/4b on sides (kinky). The back is easy to define smooth, corkscrews I think 3c in the back (curly). Along my nape is very loose, baby soft hair I think it is 3a/3b along my nape (wavy). The front and top is loose, easy to define curls, I think it is some type of 3 pattern or maybe 4a Still can't define that part (curly/wavy).

  • Your hair looks gorgeous!

  • where can i buy this?

  • @Aspenfash899 You can get both gels from sally's beauty supply store. Thanks for watching.

  • Wow! You have really nice thick hair. My hair strands are so fine that they break off at the slightest touch it seams. Your hair reminds me of my sister's hair. Very beautiful and strong looking!

  • @godschildyes Thank you. My hair was not always strong. My strands would break off from just touching it. I made my hair strands strong by doing monthly protein treatments with aphogee 2 minute reconstructor and follow that up with a moisturizing deep conditioner. Also try henna. I notice a difference in the amount of breakage I get when I use it and may hair is so much stronger. Thanks for watching.

  • @NaturalNola86 Thank you so much for this very helpful information! I will try the Aphogee 2min re-constructor and Henna! I'm excited to see how it will work for me! Happy growing!

  • Hair looks cute.

  • beautiful

  • Very pretty, love your curls. :)

  • that came out really nice!! mine NEVER comes out like that, mine always looks jerry curlish!! lol

  • real cute

  • Cute whats your hair texture?

  • Your hair looks great..

  • @victoria0402 Thank you.

  • beautiful results...a must try!!! :D

  • kool! do i need to put perm on my hair?

  • @memesi5 No. You don't. Actually I don't have a perm. My hair is natural. If your hair is in its natural state meaning no chemicals such as perm, relaxer, or texturizer you should be able to do this.

  • @NaturalNola86 aight thannx (:

  • Aw man I can't wait for that length! Your hair is so beautiful! How long does it last? Have you ever considered drying it with a difusser?

  • @shonteezi It could last for a week but I usually wash after 3 or 4 days. I have a diffuser now. I am going to do an updated wash n go video soon showing how I blow dry it.

  • how would this work on mostly relaxed hair just 5 months post so treating my hair as natural.. would i have to do an overnight leave in 2strand twist - to get this effect?

  • @winiver77 Yeah you would probably have to braid it or twist it. Otherwise you would have curly roots and straight ends. If you braid or twist it you could try putting curling rods on the ends of braids or twists and it would make it look even better.

  • wow it looks really nice.

  • @missnb20 Thank you.

  • omg i love it i just begin i cant wait til my hair get that length.....so cute!!!

  • @iAMgorjus1014 Thank you. You will be there in no time.

  • i must be doing something wrong. i keep getting lil balls of prod in my hair when it dries. its grossing me out! help! do u apply the mix the nxt day 2? i tried 2 refresh by spray aloe vera juice mixed with oil...do u have 2 seal after applying the mix?

  • @therite14now What products are you using for it. No I dont seal after applying the mixture.

  • Okay, thanks. I think that I want to try this method/product mentioned now that I have decided to allow my afro to grow.

  • How many times within the week do you have to do this process?

  • @mdanielsun I only do that on wash days and I wash my hair 1 to 2 times a week. I don't need to keep applying gel everyday. I just refresh my hair by applying moisturizer or just rewetting it.

  • Nice i like the results.

  • @nappilyevaafta Thank you!

  • im about to try this right now your hair looks like the same grade as mine hope it works

  • very cute!

  • You have great curl definition, my hair is so frizzy in most places; I have to spend more time defining my curls.

  • very cute!

  • Your curls are poppin all over the place. Love, love, love!

  • Thanks for showing me this technique. I will be trying it soon. Your hair looks Great!!!

  • Very nice!! I just did something similar with Curl Activator Gel!

  • really nice, where do you get your glycerin from? and what brand?

  • @Nitra813 I get it from oilbynature(dot)com. Its only $6 for 32oz. It is not a brand on it. Check the website out they have a lot of different butters and oils for great prices.

  • Cute!!

  • @MissGlamourGirl1992 I think I am going to try stretching my hair. I bought a diffuser and concentrated attachment but have not ever used it. Thanks for the suggestion.
