  • I think this is a sorta parody of a song in a sadly forgotten " Cats Don't Dance" musical cartoon. =)

  • God, I miss the 90's.

  • Though it was low budget and underappreciated to a state of many people only learning about it through Youtube by our time today, this show was one of the best orchestrated and scripted scripted programs from the nineties, it is truly a shame that this rare and spectacular blend of satire and real-life comedy was missed by most of the world even before it was cancelled.

  • @TheDullahan So true. Cartoons these days don't even come close.

  • NUDE JAY!

  • dumb question: is this actually based off an actual song?

  • @WeFallDivided I've actually been trying to figure that out ever since I uploaded it. As far as I can tell this one might be an original.

  • @Vondur You've got to be kidding, I'm 16 and I know this song, even worse you're not very good at researching. Its "If My Friends Could See Me Now" from SWEET CHARITY. Its a standard (very famous). Originally from 1966 (and in the movie SWEET CHARITY) I would suggest checking out the revival album cut on YOU TUBE: "Christina Applegate If My Friends Could See Me Now."

  • @Ramubay Hey there. Good find on this one. I've never even heard of that musical, and I took a class on the history of Broadway. =P Honestly, based on the similar titles I think you're correct that this is supposed to be based in that song, however if you compare the two of them I think there is almost no similarity in the music or lyrics.

  • @Vondur WTF? Did you even listen to the video? IT'S THE SAME MUSIC!!!!!! THE SAME NOTES!!!!! JEESH. You must have flunked the class and no I don't believe they didn't mention SWEET CHARITY, you were just asleep at the time. Its one of the most famous musicals of all time!

  • @Vondur Go back and listen to both songs. They are the same song. It was used for many years as the CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE SONG sung by Kathie Lee Gifford. The lyrics were changed but the music is from Sweet Charity. No changes.

  • Jon Lovitz actually has a nice singing voice!

  • Nude Jay!

  • If only more shows were like this. Thank you for posting this.

  • Lol this was a great show, thanks for posting
