Our leadership consists of six different Eagle Scouts.. We had an ok Social life, but because we were involved in Scouting and studied, we are all physicians making in the mid-six figures a year for the rest of our lives... Withthe exception of one of us who retired at age 34 after selling a software design for millions.

false. There's nothing in the national policy that prohibits gay people from entering scouting. Their policy is much like the catholic church's: don't ask, don't tell. In the leaders manual it's only mention of sexual orientation is that it says all such questions should be referred to the parents. Scout isn't about sexual orientation, or sex at all for that matter. It's about developing quality moral character and leadership. The aims of scouting are citizenship, fitness, and character.

@PersonMan1234 if only words like that were true, there has been at least one guy kicked out of Scouts for being gay that I know of, and one time when I was working at a summer camp (this memory is a little fuzzy) I do believe one of the camp directors stated that gay guys weren't allowed in Scouts.

Also, he had the nerve to say that "morally straight" meant to be heterosexual

These commercials were produced by a council, not the BSA. I think it might be the Denver area council, but I am not sure.
