fot the people who didnt knew (like myzelf in the begining) first up this relic is 1 you dont have to get voor jou get it from an monster in a box second of all in ff6 adv. its called the master scroll and besides of using genji with it it can also be used with thie thief bracelet for locke to do 4 times mug in a row

so then you use the paladin shield to learn ultima right? or do you use the esper bonuses and you dont need ultima? i got the game a few years ago and realised i dont remeber where most stuff is(i only have one ribbon). i was just like eff it and kept magic +2 till cure1 was like 6000 hp.

@PhrozenFox its just that you have ragnarok as a sword that i asked. cept being nonelemental ultima is kinda overrated anyway(i think).

Ultima is the best spell in the game. It's great vs. most of the dragons in Dragon's Den since many of them are elementally aligned. Not to mention that it's the best spell in the Soul Shrine when you pair it with the Soul of Thamasa & Quick spell. My Strago is Lv 65 with 50 Magic. He can take out all Glutturns with Quick + Quad casted Ultima in a single turn. Add Gogo into the mix & you have octo cast of Ultima.

@TheTankinTortuga yea i reckon, you speak of things i dont remeber(quick spell). maxed out magic its all gonna be 9999 anyway..... fire shield/red jacket and merton bro, all day long. throw an economizer in and its over. i need to get a rom of it (i do own the game) and play some of the custom bosses you see here on youtube.

The GBA rom of it is horrible! Flood, Tsunami, Ultima, Merton, Tornado & one other high power spell completely block the scene. Quick is the spell below Osmose & it allows double turns while freezing time. In the Soul Shrine, the hardest monsters you'll come up against are Glutturns (which cast nasty spells) & Kaiser Dragon (which has an instant kill atk). Dragon's Den will level you up nicely.
