I never met trooper longobardo personally. However my dad is a newyork state trooper and I am a washington dc police officer, I walk by the national police memorial every morning on my way to court and always stop to salute the tablet his name is on.

this is the first video (and my favorite) that i've seen that has nothing but law enforcement supporters on it. i wish i could see more vids like this. I'm a military police officer soon to be a NYS Trooper, my best wishes to his family. i know wat it's like to lose a brother in law enforcement. the way his family feels about the loss is the same that his fellow troopers feel. they all lost a member of the family. it's the same as losing a fellow soldier. Officer Longoardo stopped me and my friend one halloween night back in 97,when he was stationed in Dover Plains N.Y. He also saved my butt when my car broke down in amenia. And I had the privilage of working along side him when I was a NYS FPO. RIP you are one hell of a guy, and one hell of a patriot. And to his family, i express my heartfelt condolences.
