The nostrils seem way too big and way too far apart. Voldemort has no nose and yet she managed to give this guy an even bigger nose than he originally has. Why build up the nose, why not just build up the cheeks to make the nose appear smaller and only put a smidgen of the wax on the nose for the nostril effect. Plus, if she's a professional, wouldn't she be able to use anything and have it be much smoother than that?

If you want to achieve a flatter nose, make a latex prosthetic first to flatten down your nose and cover it with the scar wax focusing on hightening the cheekbones to make your nose appear flatter will also help (:

Ok, people who are slamming this makeup artist for her work on the voldemort nose: There is no physical way to ACTUALLY achieve this look. It is done with the aide of a COMPUTER in the films and cant be done on a real person without altering the look itself. She did a great job, Im a makeup artist myself so I know how difficult this was for her. And who ever said they dont do makeup but could do better is a complete moron. If you don't know makeup, how can you judge? UGH stupidity.

@MissIndianaJones83 thats is NOT the work of a makeup artist! You can see lines everywhere. Also you dont use scar wax as a base! one it is going to slide off after a hour and two its to heavy! She should have used cotton and latex if she is going the cheap route.

You have to understand how to use molds and how to work with the material properly, which takes training. With minimal training and a crazy small budget (as well as sans-computer imagery) its fine, IMO. Besides, my comment was more about the jerk who said he doesnt do makeup but can do better than this. Yeah right.

Bc no where are you going to find a source that says they plastered his nose down for this movie. 1- its TOTALLY impractical to do since it takes much less time on the computer to erase the nose on the actor than to hire someone to plaster his face EVERY day they shoot him and 2- its unreliable since w makeup you would get a (unavoidably) slight difference each time the makeup would be done. Some research there.... tsk tsk...

I mean I know its only youtube, but come on if you're going to do something at least put some effort into it. The wax was so lumpy and uneven it looked bad.
