  • Nice job. Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for the tour. Do you have any finish on the chess board?

  • @Jay2525Jay Thank you, havnt got back to the chess board project yet.

  • I agree about the RAS. I used one for a few years and much prefer a decent TS. They can be made to do good work, with a lot of fiddling and piddling around but a good TS is just easier. The availability of good 10 or 12 inch sliding compound mitre saws have made the RAS virtually obsolete. I would only consider one for primary sizing of long stock (if I had the room).

  • nice shop!

  • I see you have a Makita jointer planer machine. You say that you don't use the planer.

I've got a similar machine and must be the best thing I have ever bought - next to this computer I use now. Have you had to change the blades on the machine? If so could you possibly film the general procedure. My machine is due for a tune up but I am afraid of ruining anything. Thanks.

  • @MyJosePrado I have a stand alone Dewalt planer which is why I never use the Makita planer. I would suggest you type Maklita Planer repair in the youtube search box. I'll bet you find somthing close.

  • @WELCHSAUTO

    will do.

  • Mark, nice shop. It looks like you have all of the bases covered.

    Thanks for the tour.

  • Thanks for the comments guys, do me a favor and check out my Chess Board clip. Maybe you can help with the problem.

  • Thanks for the shop tour. Good luck with all future wood projects.
