@Thorpe741 Indeed, but the studio version is a stone cold classic. What I object to is all this adulation for Shirley, when clearly has no ears to hear. He managed to kill Ode To G as well with all this loudness crap and limiting and compression.WTF.
@DBZ5371 yeh , i noticed all that ...its a mistake to take this out of its seventies sound and engineering ..i felt the same way about roger glover remixes too.
I suspect they do it to entice people who have it on vinyl to fork out more cash .
I'd much prefer to hear "bonus remix's " - substituted for interviews with each band member ...and a couple of vault tracks .
@TheMichaelseymour Well, I love vinyl simply because a lot of CDs sound like this Re-Mix.
I appreciate not everyone hates the "loudness war" but it is killing music more than "Home taping" ever did. These mastering guys need to take a lesson from Steve Hoffman. Yes CD can sound wonderful. But it has to be done with a light touch which lets the music breath and which allows the user (you and me) to be able to turn up the volume and crank it ourselves. Visit SteveHoffman.tv for more.
I followed the purple from the beginning of their reign in rock, but contrary to most peoples opinion I valued 'come taste the band' as their best body of work... a stunning collection of very classy songs .. Bolin is extraordinary
Wow, man, why wasnt this on the LP ? Love it, maybe 10 min more of guitar solos at the end ... and 20 mins more of the funky part in between ... cheers Tommy ..
Glenn Hughes voice is UNBELIEVABLE on this tune. Power, Tone, Range...you name it.

AMAZING - AMAZING - AMAZING GUITAR WORK ! To me, Tommy was the GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER, next To JIMI HENDRIX ! rip Tommy.

what a horrible, compressed, bloated mess. Kevin Shirley must be totally DEAF.
This should bounce and skip. This remix is crap.
