  • Tell me, is there any other way to fire the M60 without a blank adapter?

  • My grand father used this Bak in nam haha he told me stories of it sucking to hold it around and being a bi gun and all that

  • Get

    some

  • Why do people ruin perfectly good gun vids with lame music and by lame I mean any music at all.

  • no matter what kind of modern weapons exists today i will still love this gun:D and for an assault rifle my favorite is steyr aug

  • Seems awfully fast for an M-60.

  • wow u can see at the ground all the particles were shakin

  • what name this music?????

  • Where do you buy that at? Like seriously I want one

  • nice

  • without Godard there would be no Werner Von Braun

  • Without Karl Benz, Nicolaus August Otto, Rudolf Diesel and Gottlieb Daimler we wouldn't have cars with Ottomotor and Dieselmotor.

Without Wernher von Braun the USA wouldn't have been on the moon.

I think every country had stolen some knowledge of other countries.

  • one thing....in a big prob...you cant re-use the belts....wich i see as a disadvantige

  • Well that sure looks like the Pig

  • the first guy is doing it wrong...You dont stop shooting until your out of ammo!

  • i don't care what anybody says, the m60 is a sexy gun. "i gotta get me one ah them"

  • TAKE THAT VIETCONG! err... ummm I mean sand! You'll never get in my shoe again, that will teach you!

  • How would one go about obtaining such a gun legally? Step one for me would be get the hell out of Illinois, but besides that?

  • @XcapeArtist357 As you mention, live in a state other than the People's Republic of Illinois that allows full auto. Then buy one from a class III dealer which will include registration and an NFA tax stamp. Or, get a class III dealer's license yourself in which case, even in Illinois you can own one.

  • That “song” sounded like an autistic kid on acid.

  • The only upside to humping my M60 was Range time! As far as recoil goes? My 30-30 kicks harder. Gas operated weapons like the 60 produce very little felt recoil.

  • @TheMikewalking Exactly Godamned right about the only upside to carrying it all over was firing it, LOL!

  • THE RECOIL ON THAT THING IS NUTS

  • @Eleetnessful I've fired one full auto and it's actually not that bad at all. Very heavy gun which offsets it.

  • @42ripkord I C

  • @Eleetnessful Not really, pretty easy compared to say a bolt action M24, which shoots the same cartridge. The weapon's 23lb. weight and gas operated system makes it pretty smooth to fire.

  • the m60 is ww2 grmen made after the war gi came home with it was copyed for the us armd forces

  • ah the M60, i used this in Iraq, the most kick ass mg out there!

  • ive always wanted to unload a fully automatic LMG and then go crazy with rpgs...

but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • Dear santa...

  • you want to walk it across a target, like a car or bus? use the bipod, and as you are firing keep tapping the stock in front of your face gently with the palm of your hand . otherwise they tend to drift. this helps keep them on track and you get greater control. i found this works quite well. :-) only thing i don't dig on the originals, the bipod needed to be attached to the gun, not attached to the barrell. flaw later fixed.

  • @nomadnametab WTF are you talking about? Seems you've never actually fired a old school 60, you need both hands to control it directly, LOL. Then just compensate when it starts to wander off target a bit. 6-8 round bursts only, not holding the trigger down. Not a problem with the bipod being attached to the barrel, use that to pull it out of the gun, dump a new barrel back in. Simple.

  • @rangerstubbs76 ,but it was from a fighting position. and maybe it helped the guy in the pit with me in training was a v.n. vet who was a machine gunner and had a lot of experience . he was coaching me and taught me from real world experience. it was one of the early models and this was 30 years ago.

  • @nomadnametab Then you were firing this from a tripod? That I could see only if the gun was attached to the T&E mechanism. Only way that would have been practical or even possible otherwise.

  • das bekomm ich wenn ich bei penny arbeite =)

  • great vid man

  • the music is so amazing. go go go!!!??

  • I had the opportunity to shoot the M60 several times when I was in the USAF. I love that weapon!

  • what name this music

  • @152douglas go go go?

  • @kodyman20 no

  • you really, really , really fucked up the video with the stupid music.

  • DAMN! i know im popular people but shit, stop commenting me back about me being here because of Battlefield 3 not my fault ur comments didnt get thumbs up shit...

  • I like your M60 machine gun.

  • can't you put a box of ammo attached to the gun

  • 18 people hate go

  • sounds even louder than the M60s in movies, the only thing missing is the muzzle-fire, I guess you need blanks for that?

  • I can only hope that you would be firing a M60 fully automatic...seeing as there is no other option but safe

  • Lol.. I'd love to know how it would work semi auto with a scope.. .308 makes a great sniper round, and you've got the advantage of capacity.. Anybody know more about this than i do?

  • Love the eighties synth soundtrack lol. I can just imagine the big hair and keyboard/guitar thing, whatever they were called lol.

  • Get some, get some, get some! yeah yeah! Get some!

  • I think the cans dead

  • Time to go zombie hunting, I would choose the M240 Bravo if I could though

  • this music is hilarious

  • get some!

  • Screw an AK i take one of these

  • wonder what the songs called ?

  • my dad killed alot of vietcongs with that gun.

  • of my my fav guns from full metal jacket, animal mother is a beast

  • The music made the vid. NOT

  • Thumbs up if you got here because a app

  • what class license do you have to have to own that??

  • Without the German knowledge of the MG42 you wouldn't have the such good

    machine gun 60.

  • @rapidwien4everever without an American, Hiram Maxim, the Germans would not have had the MG42...

  • @cannabotany ...there would be somebody else to invent a machine gun.

  • @Cougar545x39 Yes, no doubt it would've been Mikhail Kalashnikov. Shouldn't you be playing GI Joeski with airsoft guns?

  • @cannabotany No, i am to busy watching your awesome channel.

  • @Cougar545x39 Okay, when your done watching all that nothing, and realize that women don't respect adult guys who play army, you should consider developing a real life

  • @cannabotany Well, we all have been in the army, cause in our country it was duty to be there + girls really dont care what hobbies are when you are smart, athletic and good looking to them. I cant complain about what girls we got around us :D

  • @Cougar545x39 So, you were conscripts in the army? I have served my country too, but I volunteered for it. I got my fill of crawling in the mud, you must not have been in the real army long enough.

P.S. Women ALWAYS care what you hobbies are

  • @Cougar545x39 Back to our original topic; sure, someone else could've invented the machine gun, or the airplane, or the artificial heart...ect. But they didn't, an American did. If you were referring to the "favorites" videos when you mentioned my channel, I hope you enjoyed all the various sub-groups of rock and roll, also an American discovery....hey, we're communicating via Youtube....also an American's product.

Why don't you play German/Slovakian soldiers, instead of Russians?

  • @cannabotany Nobody plays russians, we are we and we got no russian gear. By the way, the US were founded by people from europe ;) . Hiram Maxim was of british origin. Rock n Roll has its origins in Rythm and Blues, which the afro americans came up with and you know where they are from. Youtube founders: An US-American, a Bangladeshi German American and a Chinese guy. ;) My point: a country can't take credit for what people did on its soil. Its the people who can.

  • @Cougar545x39 Wrong! Maxim was born in Sangerville Maine, USA. African music is vastly different from African-American. Youtube was not founded outside USA. No Russian gear? The AK-74 toy you have when your playing dress-up on your channel is a toy version of a RUSSIAN weapon, and a BMP...also RUSSIAN. My point is; National pride,son...your doing it wrong

  • @cannabotany national pride, yeah. MAxim was born in US, true. His parents are brits. Most things in the US have its origins somewhere else, cause the origins of the US lie elsewhere, too. Here in europe we already had that. Today we are proud of what we do by ourselfs, not what others do for us. The real guns we use are czech made, unfortunately those are too deadly to use em for shooting people. ;) Have you been in the forces?

  • @Cougar545x39 Europeans like to mention that whole "origins were elsewhere", but science tells us that humanity came from central Africa, not Europe. So your countrymen's origin was not in your country either. An American is an American to me, doesn't matter if your family came here ten years ago or 1000 years(Native Americans). I Served for seven years in the United States Marine Corps. All voluntary,

  • @cannabotany Yes, but i never said, that the origins where not in africa. But the US was build up based on the knowledge of the european countries. But anyways, no need to argue about that stuff.

  • @Cougar545x39 And Europeans learned how to make better housing than caves or mud huts because of the Romans....

  • @cannabotany Thats true, people in europe are aware of that and often visit the great places of roman history. Everybody is amazed of the roman culture and its achievements.

  • @Cougar545x39 Nifty, but you said that the US owes it's greatness to studying Europe. "Most things in the US have its origins somewhere else, cause the origins of the US lie elsewhere, too. Here in europe we already had that. Today we are proud of what we do by ourselfs, not what others do for us." Say whatever you want to, your hypocrisy has invalidated all of the points you've tried to make

  • @cannabotany nobody "owes" nothing, man. And the US did not "study" Europe, the europeans that went to found the US just used the knowledge they got at that time. And what "greatness" are you talking about? The US is just another country that had a "good time" and is now going down a little bit. I dont think europe is the best of the best, but i love how US-americans think, ther are :D

  • @Cougar545x39 holy crap, you tool. Are you going to reverse yourself on EVERYTHING you say? You know what I love? Adult males who play with toy guns, but are going to try to give people history/politic lessons. If you want to keep yapping for the last word fine, you haven't impressed me.

  • @Cougar545x39 The US is a great country, ask anyone of the 14 million people who have legally immigrated to this country in the last ten years, or the roughly 8-11 million who have come here illegally. I love my country, and if I was going to dress-up and pretend to be a soldier like you do, I would want to honor my own country's soldiers. I can only assume that your service to your own military was so lackluster and forgettable that you now need to PRETEND to be a real soldier

  • You have not been in the military. :)

  • @Cougar545x39 Any time you want to send me a copy of your service record, I'll send a copy of my DD214

  • "completely legal civilian owned" - woah you ppl really take this zombie business seriously....

  • Ahhh man, you gotta replace those chains now.

  • how friggen much does a legal auto m60 cost? :D

  • @moptim

    $20,000-40,000

  • Kuwait's right!

  • NOTE

    No flash ;)

  • Drestinblack - You are right - I guess they both have their place in battle. "Sgt. Drestinblack - you keep them Commies pinned down so they can't get away while my boys in the trees can pick 'em off one at a time!"

  • Feed the Pig.

  • Hi Destinblack - your point is certainly valid but for shooting at cans it sure is a great waste of money. It is also proven that one good well placed sniper can hold up a large enemy advance very well. They were a great problem in ww2. All because of their deadly accuracy. One shot kills will always win every day. The enemy falls before he even hears a sound. In fact a good sniper will take out 3 or 4 before the enemy can work out what the hell is going on.

  • @dougallitt In NO way am I discounting the power and effectivness of a sniper. BUT, in a major heated battle, no one will figure out that it's a sniper hitting people one at a time. This weapon will keep a large group pinned down (perhaps helped the sniper get a bead) or it'll tear holes in advancing lines, etc.

  • @drestinblack clerarly the military puts a priority on both. It's not like the two don't have their uses. That's a pretty bad argument right there. As for me, automatic weapons are cooler :D

  • @dougallitt Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think where light machine guns such as this shine is with their ability to provide suppressive fire. Basically, keeping fire on a point where you know an enemy is hiding behind some kind of cover, so they can't pop their head up and launch an RPG at the Humvee you're about to jump into. I'm not 100% sure though, I haven't done extensive research on guns.

  • @dougallitt What would make you keep your head down more, a single round whizzing past your head and hitting the guy next to you, or the guy next to you being torn apart, and your entire general area turning into a meat grinder?

  • @dougallitt A sniper isn't going to take down 200 Krauts charging your position.

  • @dougallitt The purpose of the infantry is to gain and hold ground. One man with a rifle doesn't quite fit that bill. Another thing: battle drills. An infantry section reacts to effective fire/locates the enemy/wins the firefight, in that order. i.e., effective fire means that 3-4 soldiers will go down before the rest of the section can work out what the hell is going on.

  • @dougallitt The Machine Gun was the deadliest weapon of WW2. Not snipers.

Not doubting their effectiveness. Both have the same intimidation factor sure.

But machine guns offer more suppressive fire.

  • @halflife103 The m60 was NOT used in WW2. Perhaps your thinking of Veitnam?

  • @Martinez53072 I mean the Machine gun in General.

ex. MG 08, MG 13, MG 17 ect.

  • @Martinez53072 deff not THIS Machine gun. The M60 is American.

  • @dougallitt shut up try hard.

  • @dougallitt This is ridiculous there is a need for both. You don't say we got planes so screw the submarines either. Those weapon systems have completely different tasks

  • i hate the back iron sight

  • That gay music just ruins it.

  • @constantbuzz i'd say the guy with the m-60 gets to play whatever the hell he wants lol

  • someone tell the guy at 0:53 to quit holding the weapon like a pussy

  • @nativefrmda405 Someone should tell you to try to hold that puppy up for any length of time (longer than in the short clip herein) and see if you don't naturally find a well supported position that doesn't look "pretty" but works

  • music ruined it

  • why do battlefield players always got some to say negative about call of duty?

  • omg the aliens are landing and don't look friendly. Welcome to Earth bitches

  • Shit screw cod I'm here cuz of Battlefield 3 Lol.

  • @ThrashMetalSoldier althought i do love bf3 i'm here due to its usage in nam

  • @ThrashMetalSoldier screw those games, Full Metal Jacket and Rambo all the way!

    P.S. Get some!

  • @ThrashMetalSoldier i freaking hope you're joking.

  • @ThrashMetalSoldier

Screw Battlefield I'm here cuz I like guns Lol.

  • The most overrated machine gun ever.

  • @hardware199 whats overrated about it?

  • *chackchackchackchackchackchackchack* AAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!! *last of the shells and ammo-belt parts fall to the floor* - John Rambo at the end of Rambo First Blood PART 2

  • Is it just me or are older guns just 2million% more fun to shoot?

  • @Patchu101 define "older"

  • Love it <3

  • the best

  • I loved the 60, this brings back memories. Thanks.

  • That song is badass man goes great with the vid fuck yeah go go go go

  • wow gayest song i ever hear lol

  • Thumbs up if l you lied to yourself about not being here because of COD.

  • pig

  • i love the 60..its all i use in COD...lmfao but it really slings lead huh}:>~

  • Gunner: I don't know what it was, but it's dead now.

  • I remember swapping barrels on these bad boys in the air force lol

  • omg whats this song called!!! someone telll me!!!!

  • @cptromero5595 This is called "Here to Go (Go mix version)" by DEVO. I think that this is a pretty interesting song to put up as the background music for a machine gun, though.

  • @RGAF1987 i swear i heard this in a movie?!

  • @cptromero5595 I would wonder what movie that would be.

  • Put the camera down range like the guy with th MG42 video did. You see belt-feeds in a whole new way when looking at the business end....

  • If you see the belt has been altered. Real M60 ammo is one tracer round per 5 rounds. The belts had no tracers

  • @EMT302001 When you live near a wooded are tracers aren't always a good idea...

  • @EMT302001 Altered? That's silly. The belt was linked with whatever we felt like, coulda gone 100% tracer if I felt like it, or 100% lead, whatever. Didn't buy/get it pre-linked. Linked it ourselves.

  • i got a hard on, does that count as personal growth?

  • ANIMAL MOTHER

  • i knew this gun before cod but i still play cod and i was happy they had this gun

  • That's one mean weapon!

  • I'm here because of minecraft, oddly enough.

  • Go,go, go, go, go, go go go go, go ,,go WTF?

  • @bigiron383 tell charlie keep running for shooting

  • @bigiron383 i was thinking the same thing

  • his shoulder must fell like gelê after that 0.o

  • sory i love you

  • i definitely would like to know where i can get one ! if it is totally legal , that is what i need ! how much would that cost !

  • @Meakaua ja vom design her ist eine ähnlichkeit da!

aber das mg 42 feuerte mit 1500schuss/minute! gedrosselt auf 1200schuss/minute!

    das m60 feuert mit 900schuss/minute!!

    :-))))

    und das mg45 hatte 3000schuss/minute :-))))

  • unser mg42 das heutige mg3 ist um längen besser!!

  • luv the music

  • Cmon who needs 2 hands?

  • need some tracers for a real party.....

  • ok, who shoots a can with an M60...

  • I remember carrying (and putting to use) the beauty in the dessert in 91"

  • light machinegun

  • That Pig can't use in standing position, thats why it has a M2 vipod, that's the use of it

  • i think he hit the can >.>

  • pornmusic

  • Whats the general price range for this gun? Im in FL and im wanting to move up the ladder to automatic weapons.

  • All those rounds at over a $1 a round and he hit it how many times? 3 or 4 or 5 times? just give me a single shot rifle with a half decent scope and I'll hit it EVERY shot!!!

  • @dougallitt You have no clue what this weapon's purpose is, then. It's not a rifle intended for single shots, it's a squad support weapon intended to put multiple enemy down, under cover or dead.

  • fuck that can

  • i love that pig

  • Do it rambostyle

  • did soldiers in vietnam already have box magazines for the belt?

i think it must be pretty hard if you got a belt that reaches to your feet.

  • @cobainscousin The ammo came in cardboard boxes that also came in a canvas bag with a shoulder strap, thats probably what your thinking of.

  • GO GOGO GO GGG GO GO go GO GO GO ggGGGGO GO GO GOGOGOGOGOGOG GO GO GO GO!!! GO GO go GO! Go Go Go GO!

  • am i the only one with a boner right now?
