A snapshot of this great city. I can recommend a visit the Royal Exchange Theatre, the best repertory theatre in the UK, and the John Rylands library. A beautiful gothic building on Deansgate. Great for food, shopping, theatre, sport, design Manchester Craft and Design Centre has many independent artists photographers, jewellers, makers of pottery, handmade handbags etc. I love this place!

I think Manchester should be abandoned, it's cost a fortune (billions) for the taxpayer to regenerate, and what is there to show for it?
