The pieces are great!, perhaps for the switch you could check to see if the music file has something up with it where it switches to Libera's Luminosa, otherwise it could have happened where the music files were mixed when you made the movie and you didnt notice it, just incase you havent figured out whats happened allready
This is not a complete recording of the coronation anthem 2! Near the end it cuts out to another piece. It only goes to the end of the opening allegro section. Where is the rest of it?!!!!
As written, the Coronation Anthems are ordered 1, 2, 3 ,4, where The King Shall Rejoice is 2. However, in some performances, including the Coronation itself, the movements have different orders. So, it is likely that the movements are numbered here as they were performed.
i was in the 2005 TMEA all-state mens chorus...best experience of my life...never forget the talent...and the night of the perfomance when 3000 people watch you....
A couple of Texans have already commented on this. Best wishes to all those involved in the performance! (And maybe even a video on youtube would be nice.)
I somehow like the Claire de Lune sequence a LOT.
Who is it by?

I don't mean to be rude, but this is actually Coronation Anthem No. 2, not No. 3.
This is Movement 1, and about half of movement 2, and then it switches to something unfarmilliar.

unfamiliar.

So the Coronation Anthems 1,2,3,4, aren't in the same order as HWV number?
And my Windows Movie Maker somehow screwed everything up. It switches to Libera's Luminosa.

I have no idea, all I know is that for my choir, the music we recieved says Coronation Anthem No. 2 and its these first two songs.

wizart9a9, you gotta redo this piece. As lovely as the acapella piece is, it definitely is not part of the anthem.

I don't know. Something must have went wrong with Windows Movie Maker. Typical Microsoft.

@ktlady623 Handel suddenly jumps into "Enya Meets Debussy Land", jumps back to his time and puts it all down on paper. XD

@tubez4321
Haha agreed... It's nice, and Handel would DEFINITELY be writing before his time. :D
