First heard the song just a few minutes back, and hoped that someone had the motive to make a proper video to it. Aside from some repetition, this was well done, and always love it when there's lyrics/imagery sync.
Even though i'm wayyyy too late, this song is an OC Remix by Game Over called Cataclysmic Clash. Check out the Punch Out OC Remix by Game Over called Little Mac's Confession. That's a great song by them too.
@LysanderxX They are from the Japanese commercials for the Mega Man Zero games. I think it's too bad that they are only commercials. Mega Man Zero would have been an awesome Anime series.
@KnightEnker Amen dude. Mega Man Zero is one of my all time favorite Mega Man series. If it was an anime, I would never miss an episode and buy every DVD.
This is pretty good, i will note that i love the boss music part with what you did, though the ending could have been a lot better, but overall, a very good job.
I'm not all too familiar with the Mega Man series (Only played bits and pieces of 1,2,3 and almost beat X4), but this song is just plain AWESOME. And so is the video. :D
I've actually been wondering this for a while and if anyone knows the answer feel free to tell me but: if megaman x was to replace megaman, how did the original megaman die?
To my knowledge, there is no official answer. The only thing that links the two together is the fact that both were created by the same Dr. Light. That's all I know.
he was killed by Zero in all likelyhood if you pay attention to the story on X4 and X5 you'll see this. Inafune tried to deny it later but it was obvious he was being forced to (or thought he was) in order to avoid making the story of the series too morbid, since its supposedly kid friendly.
@Jack223344 long time to answer..but if you don't know the answer.. mega man and mega man x are the same person. Dr. Light put mega man to sleep, during mega mans sleep dr light..gave mega man a mass amount of upgrades that changed the way he looked and made him much stronger. when mega man woke up it was like 20xx and the maverick wars had begun. So basically mega man slept for about a good 20,000 years maybe more.
"I apologize for the use of video game footage. If you have a suggestion for what I can do for that minute, please feel free to give your suggestion."
Well, I don't know about most of that period, but how about for the victory theme at 3:30, you show a heroic character for each beat. EG:
Sorry to correct you, but that part that you're talking about is actually the Boss Selected Theme. However, I do like your suggestion and will take it into consideration. Thank you.
Nice job! Love Game over, they're a breath of fresh air when it comes to videogame-themed music. The videogame footage is OK, but what you should do is have video clips of Megaman fighting Shadowman and Snakeman as well, and show him losing at the end (the lyrics imply that he is losing). Other than that, pretty much the best Megaman video here! 4/5
Wow. Great job on this! I knew it would come out well. And as for the videogame footage, I think that it was appropriate and well put in. You shouldn't take that out. Like I said, wonderful job!

So you used the US cartoon, clips from X, and something else. Something with the original Rockman. What is it?
DustInTheWind64 1 year ago
@DustInTheWind64 I used clips from the US Show, cutscenes from Mega Man 8, Mega Man Zero commercials, and various Mega Man X cutscenes and intro.
KnightEnker 1 year ago
@KnightEnker Cutscences? I didn't know about those. Thanks!
DustInTheWind64 11 months ago
with all those upgrades that Zero has, Zero truly makes X look like total crap.
P.S. awesome song is awesome.

@Razz9119 Maybe I should be more accurate to say that no one has mentioned 1:42 yet.

A popular theory is that Dr. Wily had created Zero and used him to cause the cataclysm and destroyed Megaman.
Duenas411 3 years ago
@Duenas411
Dr.Wily DID make Zero. But what happened after is unknown as of now.
Milez1337 3 years ago
I have nothing against this theory, but sadly, it was shot down by Inafune in a recent interview.

It is available for download at Overclocked Remix (OCRemix) or on Game Over's website, Nintendo Metal.

The majority of the song comes from the Top Man Stage in MegaMan 3. However, they do use the Boss Battle and the Boss Appears themes from MegaMan 2.
