  • Reminds me of fresh prince of bel-air fuck that shows good

  • The inability of hip-hop producers to freely sample has really, and I mean REALLY changed the game...and not in a god way!

  • @MrRayDarren I completely agree. It really took away a seminal part of hip-hop.

  • @MrIndestructible43- Glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks so! Thanks.

  • @MrRayDarren its more like the shit that they do sample just blows

  • @CommentingApple- Hmm? You may have something there. I think its probably a combination of the two.

  • You know what is so awesome about hip-hop in the 90's era? Those guys actually had story telling skills, real substance in their rhyme skills. They looked more polished and professional too. Black Sheep and many of those in that time-frame were classic.

  • That album totally blew my mind when it came out. Samples were dead original: psychedelic rock, dogs(??)... Funny witty smart lyrics and sick beats... Soooo funky. Still one of my favourite albums of all time.

  • ive never had a spliff to make me choke

  • Man I'm glad I experienced the 90's. I'm not complaining but damn stuff really went downhill after that.

  • IRELIA IS FOTM

  • i was born in 96 so i was barely exposed 2 80's & 90's Hip Hop but its a hell a lot better than now dayz shit.

  • I'm 16 and I've only been listeing to music for like 5 years and only hiphop for like 1 but this is the shit dude its wicked! the best gotta love the "Old School" stuff dude!

  • I'm 16 and I wish I get to hear this kind of music on TV and radio instead of plugging out iPods in at house parties

  • Samples are the reason for good rap. At least when the stole the instrumental songs, they where real artist used.

  • One of the best emcees of all time.

  • Old Skoolerz unite! Bring back the lost decades! :-)

  • constantly, yes its me, D-R-E-SSSSS

  • I love the little girl dancing...

  • @DK8380 ME TO!! I have the exact same feeling. Almost makes you Depressed!!! I'm 20 now Wish i was 20, 20 years ago ;)

  • @DK8380 that was a good time for hip hop kid i miss them dayz cassette tapes wooow...

  • Damn did people really pour honey/ice cream/milk on sexy honeys during sex back then? My generation sucks but thank god for it right? I wish I was a 70s,80's and 90's cat.

    P.S I'mma 95' cat. I missed it D:. Well I least I got a taste of Nas and DMX.

  • @Kris10MichelleRoss firefox addon: adblock.... DONE!

  • real hip hop used to be this good...but then it got clear channelled and illuminati-ed...

the old days can come back, it can happen..

  • @Kellogs43able

    let's hope so

  • oh yeas jotnotes@yahoo.ca

  • this song itself a classic bar none

  • Hip hop should should be equally about rythms, and this has an infectious one!

  • yo what happened to black sheep? bad arses.......

  • @ClarkesonTheMarksman SImply: The first album was just too damn good. Can't follow-up on a standard bearer. Even if it was you who did it.

  • @esswun Im 32 and big on the 90's myself...I definitely when it was the best,..but your right when late 80's and early 90's came it did become waaay more offensive ,violent, and dis respectful, but music all across the board did...the 90's was an artisitc revolution or awakening if you will....Not an excuse but you lived it just like me haha We knew how things went down! It was wild and fun and best of all creative! I think we got kinda lost and inrtangled in it all back then just a bit tho.

  • @BigBeanSS The shift occurred with the record companies need to profit from suburban kids living vicariously through the pain of urban America. The Crack Era, as it is known now, spearheaded the public prurient need to watch death and destruction from afar and the beginning of the end when white fans outnumbered black 3 to 1. Too much money in anything changes the meaning of the thing. What began as an underground genre of rap became the most presented; Gangsta Rap Fr. ICE-T NWA to Biggie.

  • @ApprxAm You damn right about the money thing.that's what killed LOUD Records for instance..dope ass label, then they tried to switch up and failed horribly. But I can't totally agree with the "crack era label" It's like all folks focused on was the bad of that time. Wu Tang was huge, Outkast and Dungeon family as Redman, Common, Pete Rock & CL Smooth are from that time. That period was so diverse that it was insane. Don't you think labeling it as "The Crack Era" is a huge slap in the face?

  • Great song. Funny music video.

  • @esswun Yeah, I definitely see what you mean. Rap shifted from the love of the beat to the love of the glock.

  • classic track love the beat

love the horns dres smooth flow

old school hip hop the best!!!

  • How the fuck has rap changed from this? There is no evolution to these rhymes.

  • do u got the fever?

  • Reminds me of slick rick...old times

  • @wingnut4471 Dope ass times

  • Erm, Dres is kinda fine, or is it me?

  • STYLE

  • Dres is a Top 10 emcee. Impressive. Especially when you consider he earned his place in Hip Hop from essentially a single album.

  • Dres is a Top 10 emcee. Impressive. Especially when you consider he earned his place in Hip Hop from essentially a single album.

  • fuck these embedded ads...boycott vids hosted on Vevo

  • i like it this song ,i have the album in cassette old school never die

  • i bet half the people hear became aware of this song from saints row

  • @AZunderappreciated i am aware of this song from a wolf in sheeps clothing

  • Don't make rap jams this deep no more. Some of my fav. groups from this era were Pharcyde, Black Moon and of course, Black Sheep....

  • i like this song the beat n all that..but the video is type wack..

  • This is what's called New Jack.

  • This is my shit!!! Love DRES!!!

  • It almost brings me to tears that they don't make music like this anymore... rap nowadays is just an abomination. I solemnly swear that I will bring hip hop back.

  • if kia put this song in their commercials watch hip hopians mark my words this site will have ppls checkin this in the millions as well right now its 300,000 mark my words

dam all yal who was alive for all the oldies group and raps yal r some lucky people.

  • @mastershake644 Yo, I'm 33 and all we talk about now is how wack rap today is. If you were in high school in the early 90's like me, you would have loved hip-hop. The beats, lyrics, and even the videos were better. Keep diggin for the classic we bumped. Peace.

  • @mastershake644 your also a youtube geek :P

  • @mastershake644 i personally second this... :'(

  • @emin3m686 i feel your pain

  • @mastershake644 It's nice to see a young one like old school hip-hop like this and can appreicate real rap,mc,etc i 100% agree with the now a day rappers like wayne, keep bumbping that old school.

  • @mastershake644 I am 35 and glad to hear there are still people your age that know when music is shit........good job kid, you'll go places

  • @vasy2196 thank you and i no wuts real music and wuts just noise

  • @vasy2196 no1 gives a fuck what u think

  • @ikilln00bsforfun very negative comment

  • true dat lil youngster. but keep doin what you do by listening to old school rap cause that where it'll always be.

  • @mastershake644 your'e right! i'm 16 too and I get jealous when I hear people say, ohhhhhh it was so this and that back in the day! I constantly listen to HIP HOP from Black Sheep & other inspiring artist. I think that people take music for granted? Do you? I've read numerous of comments that said that the individual remembers when a particular song dropped. I wish i was there when it dropped! I absolutely LOVE BLACK SHEEP! They really have set the music back group for Hip Hop. #realtalk

  • @dejohn121 man i feel ya and yeah i wish i was around when old school ip hop n R&B artists came out and when u went to a club, nobody wanted to fight, just enjoy it.i really do wanna go n have a first eye look at all the guud stuff.

  • @dejohn121 word up same here. It sucks though, no friends of mine eva heard of black sheep, gangstarr, das efx..etc. They think that guy with the bird name is dope. I wish it was like bac in da day

  • @Mrhiphop4life1 @dejohn121 @mastershake644 Don't despair, there's still lots of awesome innovative music being produced as we speak, it's just harder to find it than when we were young because the mainstream media just focuses on shitty commercial crap. But at least you guys have internet to grow up with! Sometimes it would take me months to get a hold of a hip-hop record because my local record shops didn't carry them haha. Check these one out online: BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM and Mixcloud :-)

  • @mastershake644 attention seeker?? how come your age says 25 on your account???

  • @ulusot because u ever though when u was little u wanted to have a older account and keep your real age hidden from people checking accounts jeez :p and why get n my business if i only speak the truth

  • @mastershake644 Word up. I jus turned 33, so I'm from the era you're talkin bout. Trust me I dont take it for granted being born in 1978. I was fortunate to be born during the first generation of hip-hop. Thanx mom and dad!!

  • This is hip hop right there. Mista Lawnge is hilarious.

  • I had this tape on heavy rotation back in 91!! "CLASSIC ALBUM!"

  • This brings back memories!

  • I sure do miss HIP HOP...I dont know what you call this RAP game today!!

  • This video is almost 20 years old but the dancers still look good after all these years

  • This is the best track Black Sheep has ever made.

  • love old school better than today

  • Man those dancers are thick, dayum! Sick track and beat too, but the dancers got me.
