@Bham4246 Because he has no social game? Because he goes out of his way to ruthlessly cut people's throats and not realize that that'll screw you over when they're on the jury? He has no endgame at all.
@greenday61892 You have to take into consideration that he'd only had a 10 day break between the two seasons, everybody would be tried and grumpy If they were in his position.
@IceYourPimpHand You're crazy if you think people should've given him sympathy because poor Russell agreed to play two seasons with just 10 days of rest. There's no excuse whatsoever for how he treated everyone in HvV.
@greenday61892 Yes it is, dumbshit. Samoa took a huge toll on Russell's psyche, and to have to go back into the game (against ALL-STARS, no less) so soon afterwards is mind-harrowing. Besides, Russell may not have a likable social game, but he has pretty much everything else nailed down; he's driven, determined, focused, strong, perceptive, logic-smart, and in it to win it. I fail to see how he doesn't deserve to win just because people don't like his brash attitude.
@psychokinrazalon NO, it's NOT dumbshit. I don't care what you've gone through, keep it the fuck under control. If you fail to see how he doesn't deserve to win just because people don't like his brash attitude, clearly you don't understand how the game works, because that's the ENTIRE point of the end game. If you have as HORRENDOUS of an attitude as Russell did, there's no fucking way you're going to win. Plus, watch Redemption Island and you'll see that it definitely was NOT "psychological"
@greenday61892 You're the one who needs to keep it the fuck under control. You seem to forget that the jury has total control over who wins, and it's their own fault if they let emotion influence their vote. The fact that he did receive a couple of votes proves my point. And I did watch Redemption Island; throwing the challenge to oust Russell was the single dumbest move they could've made. Russell HAD changed, but he didn't last long enough for us to see just how much he had.
@psychokinrazalon So much wrong with this post. First, you proved my point; I KNOW it's up to the jury and that is just why you can't argue that he deserved to win. He got votes in SAMOA, but he was insufferable and got 0 votes in HvV. And in Redemption Island he SAID he had changed, but used the SAME stupid strategy of making a small young-girls alliance and relying on idols to get further in the game.
@greenday61892 He DID deserve to win; his gameplay had more merit to it than Natalie's, and especially more than Parvati's and Sandra's. He didn't last long enough to show how much he'd changed in RI. He doesn't RELY on idols, but he knows how useful of a tool they can be, so he likes to make sure he's always in possession of them. Krista and Stephanie weren't taken into the core Zapatera alliance, so Russell was the only person they could go to.
@greenday61892 Dude, editing can only distort reality to a limited degree. Russell did all the hard work to get the Foa Foa four to the end while Natalie just rode his ass the whole way. Which do you think has more merit to it? In HvV, Russell was the only one of the three who gave respectable answers to the jury and was the only one keeping it real throughout FTC. THAT'S why people love him so much.
