Well, since it wasn't a cab, I was wrong, so it doesn't matter. But assuming it was a cab, the reason that could be taken as a racial stereotype (political correctness isn't my forte') is because there are a lot of immigrants from Russia, Bosnia, Ukraine, etc. who become taxi drivers. Is Niko Serbian or Bosnian? He's a veteran of the Yugoslav wars.

Niko is not Russian nor Ukranian. I live in Nyc and i can safely say compared to muslim yellow cab drivers, European yellow cab drivers are nearly non-existent. You'll see a lot of them drive a limo type cab like a lincoln towncar cab. So there would not be a stereotype in the driving a yellow cab department for Europeans.

If you want stereotypes with yellow cab drivers even play GtA3. Remember the cabbies there? They are ONLY muslims and they all wore the turbans.

you don't have to specify yellow cabs because that's the only type of taxi's in GTA4.

I'm actually not sure. Never played the PS2 version. But if it has multiplayer, it's probably a lot like Multi Theft Auto. In MTA, you have access to all the islands. Different characters start with different weapons and they're not balanced. For example, one guy starts with a shorty shotgun while another starts with an M-60. I like to play as the Mexican guy with the Hawaiian shirt because he starts out with an M-60, a .357, and a chainsaw.

Do you mean Tommy vercetti or a mexican guy with a hawaiian shirt? I don't think ps2's version of Vice city has multiplayer. I think the whole multiplayer online thing started with San Andreas. The chainsaw is useless unless you're up close, it's a little more usefall than the screwdriver weapon (which is about 2 seconds of fun).
