  • Why do Japanese commentators always jabber and shriek like they have fireworks going off in their underpants?

  • There's one in Tucson az it's cool

  • wow high stall speed, bet if you stalled it you would never get it back under control : /

  • comes in every russian happy meal!

  • Maybe when you built the plane you lost a couple of pages of the plan showing the rest of the wings!

  • That thing si seriously screwed up... But awesome that something so small and "obviously unable to fly" can indeed fly. One of the few times where an objects title describes it perfectly. Well done, pilot, well done!! And a big HOLY SH*T to the designer of that craft.

  • @HauntingBull Biggest HOLY SH!T moment would have been when it broke up at an altitude of around 400ft... Robert Starr was injured and survived, he went on to build more record setting aeroplanes including the 'Bumble Bee II'.

  • I figure its japanese.....and mr. starr also sorta speaks japanese too ( dubbed ).

Cool flight..that man has balls made of brilliants and oak leaves !

  • it sounds like german spongebob and mr. krabs talking in the background rofl.

  • Question :

Hows the Spin Characteristics on that puppy... it's got to make you dizzy

  • AMAZING.!

  • WTF!!!???

  • holy sh!t it flies!!

  • It looks like an over sized RC plane

  • 75 kts

  • sooo

    whats the stall speed?

  • @xxuncexx i reckon about 100kts LOL

  • great engineering. amazing an aircraft so small could be piloted successfully.

  • its basically a flying engine

  • People without vision shall perish....

  • u wouldn't have to worry about terrorists, just birds and kites and jerkoff teens who may or may not be intoxicated and just happen to have a bb gun handy lol. cool vid to stumble upon .

  • That's really old school stuff!!!! WOW!!!

  • Yes, It's old school and still has the world's record. Thanks for watching!

  • I made a jetpack out of baking soda, vinegar, and fuel. I went like 9 feet in the air and free falled a bit lol it was soo cool

  • how is that aerodynamic?

  • The wings, and body are all lifting components....the wings use a standard aspect ratio of 23012. Thanks for viewing.

  • You mean aerofoil of NACA 2312?

  • that was soooo cool!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for watching....glad you enjoyed the Guinness World's Smallest Piloted Airplane.

  • Not smallest.

    See: watch?v=uAWnOxUI7Rc

  • I actually have a flying rock, it weights 1400 pounds but is powered by a Prat and Whitney 900 hp radial, it's a blast

but the LD with out power is 1-1.

  • I'd like to see the video of your flying rock.

  • thats smaller then alot of rc planes

  • difficult to fly too.....my Dad was the only one who could and did successfully fly the last 3 record holders, both his creations which hold the current record and SKY BABY back in the early 1950's.....

  • this would be a really god vid if i could understand japansese

  • valente d+ very good.

  • lol

  • so ur father actually flew it

  • where is the footage of the landing/take off/flying?

  • Just double the wing length and it becomes flyable (but no record anymore)

  • I mean flyable on a regular basis, not once for the record.

  • you might be able to do better (i doubt it)....but be my guest and go for it!

  • that thing looks like it came right off Muttley's WING DINGS.. remember that cartoon show where the Vulture squadron chse the pigeon?

  • yes it is 'cute'. Any true engineer would marvel at it.

  • And it flys!!.....amazing stuff......

  • Yes both bumblebee 1 and 2 flew.....one pilot only every touched the controls....my father, Robert Starr. Thank you for viewing.

  • every part of the air frame as well as the wings are air foil shaped, adding to the lift, but it relied heavily on the prop. Thank you for the comment.

  • if i had a flight license and could find that plane in america i would buy it right away

  • it is delightful looking, but very difficult to fly.

  • i have seen that plane belive me this video makes it look bigger then it really is

  • Hi: have you seen the bumble bee 1 in person at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson, by chance? You are a bit too young to of seen the bumble bee 11 and 1 other wise.....as both were flown before you were born....Thanks for the post....
