this is def a new version of this song -- i've never heard a version quite like this before. Very different -- Can't say i love it yet, but, can't say i dislike it either. Just different. It's new to hear this old hymns come out in a metal form. I can understand all the words no problem -- does this group have any other hymns??

People usually say that Christian Metal is a contradiction. I see no reason for this. Their argument is that metal started off as an evil, anti-Christian genre of music. December 25th is not the birth of Jesus Christ. It was the date of a Pagan holiday, that which Christians redeemed. Christ can redeem our pour, lost, souls. If Christ can redeem and save imperfect people, and we through Christ can redeem Pagan holidays, then we can redeem music in the name of Christ, as well.

I've been going to the same Youth group for about 2 years now and I've been trying to get more of this music style involved with the church but they will have none of it. I wanted to get something like this or For Today played last year at Youth Sunday, which is a special service that we are supposed to organize but the church music director said if we ever played anything like this at church she would leave.
