@cangriman0101 yes you can. its not garenteed but with my pt scores and how dedicated I am im confident in my ability to get in the 75th reg. I have whats called an option 40 attached to my contract which garentees me a spot at jump school and RASP after basic. rasp is ranger assesment and selection program. simple to say, hard to do.so yes you can become an army ranger out of boot camp. its how most rangers get in the regiment. so maybe you should check your facts and stop getting so butt hurt.

Hey, I'm 16 going to Paris island as soon as I graduate, What should I mainly train? Pushups? Pull ups? (What kind) What should I set my running time for? Like a mile in 6 min or something? If you tell me it will be very helpful! I'd like to train before so I don't struggle the whole time.. Did you train for it and did others train for it alot?

Pull ups, crunches and running is what you're going to need to work on. I would say get to 20 pull ups if you can and if you can pass that, makes sure you're crunches are an easy 100 and I would recommend you work on your run at least 5 times a week.

Man, now that I look back, boot camp was fun as hell. Especially when one our guys would fuck up, and then we'd all have to play games, like doing 50 squats with your "casualty". Oh, and the DIs man, comedic genius's. Gotta love 'em! Good times yo, good times.
