  • They need to teach new Christians to grow and to grow on their own too.Read read read the word it is the best way to stay in fellowship.

  • You guys who are hassling @classicaldale are showing ungraciousness and ignorance. He used "catholic" as an adjective, not a noun:

catholic adj. 1. universal in extent; involving all; of interest to all.

    2. pertaining to the whole Christian body or church.

He wasn't saying the RCC is the entire church. I'm not Roman Catholic, my background is open brethren (evangelical), and I agree with everything he said.

Also voting someone's comment down because you disagree with their point of view is lame

  • Does anyone else have a problem with the audio matching up to the video?

  • I love Kirk! Left Behind♥

  • cool vid... amunra...

  • These guys have good intentions, but aren't really on the right track. First, their use of this parable isn't THE WAY Jesus shared, it's one example. Secondly, they blame the state of fallaway on evangelistic methods, when the problem is in poor discipleship and assimilation into church and fellowship.

  • @uztigger Actually, in a way, they are blaming lack of discipling as the problem, which I agree is the major factor in the fall-away rate. Also, I would like to point out that many people do make decisions to follow Christ under pressure, rather than because they truely wanted to follow God at the time. Many are mislead by a "prosperity message" that promises them a cake-walk and riches, but when they don't get rich or anything like that, they walk away, Why? Because of the false mesasage!!!

  • @1988tq I lost my job from doing right and have no idea what to do but turn to him.Now insted of being worried Im excited about what God can do to get glory from using me.the main thing in witnessing is to get them to realizeyou are not good enough to stand before the Father because of their sin.If they wont admit they do wrong then all you can do is pray for them.

  • I find it ironic that many Protestants criticize Catholics for not believing in and adhering to the laws of the Bible, yet the Catholic Church is most opposed to things like divorce, gay marriage, and birth control, which the Bible clearly condemns.

I don't think any one denomination will exclusively be saved, but all who genuinely believe that Christ is their Savior and who admit that they are sinners will be saved.

  • Guys the way i see it, christianity isn't anything bout being a so called "luthren" "baptist", "catholic" or "pentacostal"... Live your life by scripture and not by tradition, if you're not sure about something in your local church, challenge it, find the right answer in scripture. Thats what i say a christian is, one who lives by scripture. Let's get out there and Preach! lol

  • @B0r3dAtH0m3 Thank You people must realize the bible never ordained denominations

  • Go kirk and ray

  • @mpar777 I agree. These idiots provide some of the funniest content on YouTube. If the crap they spew wasn't so logically fallacious and utterly retarded, I'd suspect they might actually be serious.

Thank goodness I know they are just kidding.

    Go banana man!!!

  • I find it sad that out of the comments I see here that there's a debate on the Catholic Church. It's pretty petty if you ask me. What matters is who's about the Father's business as Christ is/was. Christ came to die for us and our sins so we have full access to the Father. Are we not called to be lamps of His light? So arguing over the Church seems silly when it should come down to showing His grace and love.

  • People who are genuinely converted, in the beginning want to do penance for their sins. They are attracted to the "sense of the sacred" and search for this. It is in the Holy Eucharist ie: the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ. That is the only place where one will find peace. God's church is a visible one and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. It is Universal for all and helps all people in every generation. It is Catholc

  • I'm sorry classicaldale. You're wrong and the scriptures prove it. The Catholic church falls away from the teachings of Jesus. No one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws him and Jesus will raise him up on the last day. A church with walls does not save a soul.

  • Sorry fourbyfourblazer your wrong. First of all it was us Catholics that you got the Bible from. The Catholic church came form Christ. Are you trying to say that Catholic/Christians were wrong until the Reformation? If you study the early church fathers you will see they were all Catholic. If you study Western Civilization you will see they were all Catholic. History shows that Christ established Catholicism. Like the ark everyone out side of it will parish! Same with His Church. God Bless

  • @AaronShaunBrennan Where in the bible does it say Jesus established catholicism, cause when i read the bible it comes against any division in the body (sects)

  • @fourbyfourblazer Amen to that!

  • @fourbyfourblazer catholic church even reject salvation from Jesus.

They say you cannot of yourself go to Jesus and be saved . That works are mixed with Jesus efferts. This makes Jesus deadth and victory over death for our sins a failure.Council of Trent: Canons on Justification.

  • His word says we are saved by grace.. We have peace as a by-product of what He did on the cross for us if we except what he did.He said "it is finished" It is not catholic or protestant, black ,white it is what Jesus did for us....He made it real simple. Catholics make it complicated...go figure

  • Amen to that!

  • @classicaldale

The RCC is not Christian and it denies most of the teachings of the Bible. Peter's body is not in Vatican but in Jerusalem, he was never in Rome. Another Simon was working in the background...

What saves is belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (as found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) plus nothing. True faith is manifested in the believer but no good works or sacraments will ever save anybody.

I was a Romanist myself. I want you leave this cult. Yet not my will by God's will be done.

  • @MichaelGabrielR Search" Simon Peter verses Simon the Socerer" He's the other Simon Peter spoken of in Act 8:9-24, plus this article gives you other references and all kinds of good info. Peace to you

  • @classicaldale Can you back that up with anything that Jesus said in Scripture?

  • The backsliding rate is just astonishing but not really surprising. I was one of those numbers but, praise God, I have came back to Christ.

  • great!! i use this method to bring ppl to faith in Jesus now and it's working!

  • I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!
