As long as she meets whatever criteria I have set for holding the dumbbell, i'm not worried about it. personally I don't teach a hold command because it bores the dogs so much that they don't want to do it. I just get it eventually.
Hi, thanks for uploading your videos. I'm currently going down your list of videos, and I have learnt a lot ! However, I was wondering, when you teach your dog retrieve like in this video, are you not afraid of her spitting it out too early? That's how I was teaching my dog too, but now we have a problem, he brings it eagerly, but then spits it, instead of waiting for me to take it out. Any advise welcome!
