  • VERY NICE!!

  • Bravo!

  • è mitico, spettacolare è anche la colonna sonora di Rusty il selvaggio

  • Hi, nice solo. Snare sounds good, I presume it's a Tama 6"x14"?

I tell you, I've got a vintage, Tama Swingstar and that snare is one motherfucker!

It's a basic, Swingstar-snare, 6"x14", tuned the top skin as high as possible, ("until your knuckels turn white", as mr. Copeland says..) and it sounds awesome! The best way to listen to your snare, is have it played by another drummer. So I did, and I was glowing while hearing it... So incredible!

  • if only copeland would tell us how to get the sound from ghost in the machine- one world (not three).

  • @pivotguy196

Well this is a really good question! Stewart is a very good drummer and about the sound this snare is one of the best by Tama very similiar to the Stewart's sound! Thanks to visit me!

  • @davlod70 nice solo by the way.

  • @pivotguy196 One of their best tunes none the less.

  • bravo bravo!

  • doucebag

  • thats really cool

  • ahahahaha....ridiculous!!!

  • Bene hai perfettamente ragione ma sai che faccio io aspetto il tuo di solo vediamo se fai meglio!

  • @davlod70 Ma non cagarlo quel deficente. I miei complimenti.

  • awesome!

  • @RoninKwaz Thanks

  • Great Snare. along with the Remo Gold Crown Snares, that is the only modern Snare I will use.

  • hey whats up dude, which drumhead are you using for the snare and for the toms???

    pd: nice video men

  • Hi big man well, the snare is the Stewart Copeland tama signature. On top Coated Remo Ambassador on bottom Ambassador clear. About the drum. The drum is a Tama superstar so I take the idea from Copeland about the drumhead: on top rempo emperor clear on bottom, ambassador clear. Thanks to visit me, keep in touch!

  • paradiddle

  • Yes a lot of paradiddles I like it! I suggest to you to buy the Pat Petrillo's book! It's fun! Bye

  • the same kind of snare or the same snare drum?? so, he played with that drum???

  • It's the Tama Signature snare drum Stewart Copeland!

  • No es copeland, es falso este video.

Not copeland, This video is fake..

  • Hey man just take a look to the title of the video are you drunk or what? I play this solo with the Stewart Copeland's snare drum I'm not Stewart Copeland!

  • se nota que recien has aprendido el ingles jaja

  • jaja! si, no tengo idea! tengo q aprender... saludos

  • AWESOME MAN!!!

    love that snare

  • haha! That was kickass! great job!

  • Great drummer, very precise, and very creative.

  • Stewart Copeland? wtf?

  • It's the Stewart Copeland snare drum very sharp!

  • pretty crazy solo man, seems like years of practice lol

  • Holy fuck! THis is beyond amazing :-)

  • Great job. Nice wrist action. Good use of the tom rims and closed hi hat!

  • Man, the snare sounds sweet.

    What is it, a Tama?

  • Yeah! It's the Stewart Copeland snare drum and the drums is a Tama Superstar color Amber Fade! God bless you!

  • Copeland's snare sounds awesome! Great drumming too!

  • dude awesome solo check out mine

  • look at me! look at me!

    self-indulgent rubbish.

  • Youre snare have a really good song !!

  • you are an awsome drummer

  • Thank you!!!! I'm working now in a Steve Gadd's tricks so next time it could be better than this video. Bye

  • You're working on Steve Gadd's tricks ?

    Can hardly wait.

There was nothing in there to compare you with Copeland except his signature snare....................I reckon he'd change that it if he heard this..

    Much work to do !

  • Hi! I know that I'm not Stewie this is only a joke for me. By the way I can do a lot of Steve Gadd tricks. I like Stewie and also he is not Buddy Rich! Everyone try to do the best it's possible I' not a professionist just an amateur and in Italy we are not lucky just the guys in US or in Uk we have not school and the music here is not seriusly It' s a pity!

  • awsome beat dude

  • Thanks!!!!!

  • Awesome!

  • Nice vid. I lurrrrve my SC snare. He's far from grumpy. He's passionate about his music and voices his opinions about it. I've seen nothing but smiles on his face (and bliss while playing) throughout the reunion tour.

  • Thanks and take a look to my another new video with this snare is the part 2. By

  • That snare is really good. I like my tuned really high with a controlled sound on. It is only 5x14 but it will kill everything in the room.

  • how much was the ol' SC signature snare?

  • 360 euros. It's a very good snare very sharp and powerfull!

  • do you know what that would translate to in USD?

  • I don't know, I'm sorry

  • from the translator on my phone its $472.

  • There are only single and double stroke rolls without a groove!

  • funny drum solo?, whats the funny part?.

  • i like neil pert better stewert copeland is to grumpy when he plays with the police

  • Well! what can I say about the incredible Neil Peart! He's a fantastic drummer. I like also: Steve Gadd, Gregg Bissonette, Rick Latham, Manu Katche ecc. Stewart is a very good drummer too fast for my skills but I like very much it's style. Buy

  • honestly I think the snare sounds killer and you should try different tunings and find what you like best, your playing is fine too, better audio would be nice but your audio is also hands above most on youtube and good enough to get the point across.

  • Hmm the snare deserves to sound the way it was designed to sound. The batterhead is tuned way too loose which makes it sound like any other snare. The tight snare sound Copeland gets from it sounds awesome but it dont sound anything like that in this one. Bad audio too. Hopefully u can u can upload a newer video with good audio and tune the drum like Copeland does. This time id love to hear more solid flams rather than rolls n paradiddles. Hope thats cool.

  • Tha nks for your comment. The snare drum is very sharp and powerfull but the problem of the sound is that I did this joke with a digital camera and I know that it's not good. Stewart Copeland is my favourite drummer and with this video I didn't want to emulate it. On the drums I prefer to use a deep sound on the tom toms but Stewart no. I promise next time it will be better. Thanks a lot. Bye

  • i do agree hes good with the police but neil pert is better 1. neil pert has more stuff on his drums like a 8 piece 2.stewert copeland is so grumpy

  • hes not really that grumpy but I can see why he is because he fights with sting all the time

  • Nice job, mate.Want to find that Buddy Rich's book,he's the one and only.

I think if you put just a little bit more of groovin' into your solos will sound great.

    Loved the snare drumsound too!:)

  • Thanks, I made you a promise...next time I'll put some good groove. You are right about the groove. Bye

  • Thanks a lot for your comment. I learned all the rudiments with a book call: "Modern interpretetion of the snare drum rudiment" by Buddy Rich. Maybe the best book in all the world!!!!! Bye Davide

  • NICE work...soloing's never been my strong suit. You have great hands.
