  • that's a weird lego guy.....

  • Maybe you should add a camera and a monitor on your DS so you can study where the plane goes.My Ds is broken so I made a plane like you but added a camera on top and within 3-4 weeks i had me a Spy plane.I used it to send messages from my house to my friends house,It worked out great.I did this during the summer. I have yet to post a video about it.

  • @braapZ350 ok i will check

  • @BrickAndBeyond

Thank you for taking a look. I have since retried this LEGO guy from Parachute duty for fear of loosing him, looks like he is a bit of a rare item, deleted the other posts as well. ;-)

    Take care,

    Paul

  • this is awesome!

  • Yes. Parachute is just a cut up Trash bag, I used thread for the lines, LEGO guy is approx 3" tall.

  • whas that lego guy with a parachute???

  • I see you have the lipo forward of the landing gear. Does the slowstick fly better nose heavy???

  • Thanks for the comments guys.

I'm using a Lipo battery and outrunner motor, (both are lighter than the geared brushed motors and NiMh/Nicad combo), and I also moved the wing further forward than the plans call for, so it's not really nose heavy. The CG is currently 115 MM from the LE. Power off glide slope is pretty flat, glides really nicely. The build up of this plane is on the Wattflyer forum, beginners section, thread title is Y.A.S.S.B.

  • Nice,

    What plane is it?

  • This is a GWS Slow Stick. 46" inch wing span, outrunner electric motor, Lipo battery. If you like this video, check out my other videos of this plane. Excellent trainer, fun pasture flyer.
