Listen here, badseed 136. I'm part Brasilian and from my experiences in Brasil, the people have treated me with much more love and respect than most have in this country. And from someone who knows firsthand, they DO care about the environment, especially the Amazon. My Brasilian father is one of the biggest animal/environmental lovers I know. So before you go pointing you finger at other nationalities, take a look at what the U.S has done. Whos fighting a greedy war right now again?
Why did such a wonderful and essential ecosystem have to be situated in that trifecta of third world shitholes were people overvalue their lives at the cost of the environment???
You are a retard . The amazon is perfect and that is s why beautiful creatures like this ,live there. If they were here they would be captured in some aquatic park and wouldn't have the freedom they deserve. You don't seem tot know how nature works,do yourself a favor and learn about other countries before you open your ignorant mouth. By the way, those third world countries you mention, live mostly out of their own resources, not like Some countries that has everything made in China.
I agree the amazon is perfect. That´s why it sucks when brazil, ecuador and colombia think is better to burn it down for wood or farming land. Or flood it to built hydroelectric dams. Or capture the different an unique animals to sell them in the black market with the complicity of the authorities. That was my point. If the amazon was pat of let´s say Sweden, it would an untouchable protected area.
Protest Norway's plan to capture and display endangered pink Amazon River dolphins in an aquarium. Many pink dolphins will die quickly in captivity. Info at website of whale and dolphin conservation society. Click on "International"
people hunting them, people depleteing their food sources, people depleteing their environments. its peoples fault basically. we take and take til theres nothing left to take. as once said in the matrix "we are a virus, a plague" gotta admit, its true.
yes..they're called Botos! There's a very interesting story about them.. people in the Amazon used to believe that, at night, the Boto turns into a man. And it wears a hat, to cover up the hole in it's head! So, when the little girls got pregnant, they used to say it was from the Botos!
Very interesting story... better than face the fact that your kid is a whore! hahahha
we don't have then in zoos because they're endangered, rare, and thrive best in their natural habitat. think about it. do you REALLY take an endangered species out of its natural habitat, and risk it dying by transportation all the way across the world, or having it die in a zoo? i'd rather have them live their live in the wild, where they belong.
i would definitly , human caring would be moe suitable than living it in the natural havitat, who know how many pouchers are out there wanting to catch this rare result albinism
i saw an episode like this on wild thornberrys :) except it was a girl and she wanted a friend and tried to lure debby(the older sister) into the water to be transformed. was a pretty cool episode lol
from greenpeace site ''Many consider the pink dolphin to be mystical creatures and local legends surrounding its powers are common. Perhaps the most popular fable is that the spirit of a drowned person enters the body of the boto, which can change into a young man on land.''
Well, nothing happen then. This legend was probably be created as an excuse to adultery.
About a spirit in the boto's body, I don't know abot that. I just know the part the Boto transforms into a man (usually dressed with white pants/tuxedo and a white hat) and seduce women and, after, comes back to the water.
