  • Liberating women? I prefer the idea of liberating men.

  • what did I just watch?

  • @TheNationalarmy ...100% agreed!!!! It's feminism and "science",(psuedoscience is more like it) run amok.

  • this is such blaspemy... since when is raising a child a burden? SICK SICK PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO PLAY GOD! You All will never Be him... You are not the creator!

  • @Tashasupastar why do you think building a person outside the womb is bad?

  • @fishtankbank Because it is not what God, the creator wanted. Why is it good, because women wouldn't have to go thru labor and the pain of it. I know this may seem bad, but that is our "punishment" for disobeying God from the garden of Eden (eve). It is a wonderful filling and is very empowering for a women to feel her baby inside of her and knowing that God gave us the power and strenght to give birth to a baby. The baby hears his or her mother, feel the heartbeat, understand life by being in

  • @Tashasupastar do you think life begins at conception? if you do the percent of miscarriages drastically grows. around 30 percent of fertilized eggs dont implant. if you add that to the 10-20% that do and are miscarried any way that would mean under natural conditions half of all pregnancy end in the death of a human being. so your fuzzy feeling and scence of empowerment are meaningless, and immoral.

  • @fishtankbank side the mother. I gave birth to a baby, and even though I was passing out, it is the most beautiful thing ever. And i came out feeling empowered, and even after giving birth, you dont really remember the pains of childbirth, almost like amnesia. The love of that child that you felt growing inside of you, kicking you and now in your arms is beautiful. I acutally think this is Man's way of trying to take that away from us.

  • @Tashasupastar "but that is our "punishment" that is not only stupid but immoral. if your mother disobeys your grand mother should your grandmother punish you? makes no sense. " It is a wonderful filling and is very empowering for a women to feel her baby inside of her" you do realize 10 -20 percent of pregnancies end in miscarage, right? and thats just the ones eggs that implant. choosing your fuzzy feeling over a potentially safer lab birth is irresponsibly.

  • Our universe it is highly technological hologram cosmic mass computer hard drive, and if you tap into it, and than you start to unfold how everything it works for its best futuristic electronic freedom of thoughts!

  • This is just sad.

  • i think people need to stop playing with humanity like it's a toy. /:

  • Postgenderism won't make us sexually equal. It will make us equally sexless.

  • @caveatemp Problem? Can you explain why lacking a defined sex is bad? Also, by definition, we would be both sexually equal and equally sexless as well as equally whatever we want to be. Postgenderism solves a lot of problems regarding gender equality as well as problems regarding gender identity and transgender issues.

Ideally, humanity should be able to completely modify their forms at any time.

  • @Alastair I think we'd first have to determine what problems you see with the genders as they are. Women thought they were getting equality with men but in fact only got the right to play the man's game. Consequently, the women's game got lost in the shuffle. The plus for the globalists is that women got to be tax slaves alongside the men. Find out who is pulling the strings. Who wants you to be so malleable?

  • @caveatemp You'll soon find that there are a few people with ideals similar to, yet not as malicious as the hidden directors. Likewise, categorizing anything as a game for a gender diminishes the freedom and equality of humanity. I won't accept the limitation of hidden directors or of the inhibitors of progression towards liberation. The problem isn't with gender so much as it is with limitation created by form. Do as you will with your species, but this body isn't satisfactory for this mind

  • @Alastair Transhumanism is a control freaks wet dream. You could be perfectly manipulated. But granting the huge assumption that the transhuman world could eliminate the "hidden directors" and you could shape shift to anything you want at will, you'd still be stuck in your own mind. Then you'd want liberation from your distinct consciousness. You'd seek death but not be able to find it all the while eternally denying authorship. Sounds like fun.

  • @caveatemp Don't think I've not thought ahead about that. Death isn't what the mind seeks in such a state. What it seeks is the cessation of experience. Most commonly this occurs through death, though I believe that there are ways to artificially stimulate a low experience state of mind. Also, as far as I can see, the elimination of death isn't possible for us. What we can do is extend lifespan for an indeterminate amount of time. Also, there's no "being stuck" when it comes to the mind.

  • @Alastair Also, to put it simply, I already seek liberation from my own consciousness, and have my own natural ways of going about this. Though my ideals aren't the same as many transhumanists. My main desire is enabling the potential of more time for thought in humanity and more ways to avoid causing suffering to any life. I can't see any future for life in any other methods outside of separation of the mind from life, or humanity from the rest of it.

  • @Alastair Think about the way computer technology had progressed. It gets smaller and faster, exponentially. It's a process that is not leading to death for the computer but it might as well be death for the observer outside the acceleration process. Embodied inside that process, through transhumanism, we might experience a sort of eternal dying process, all the while "thinking" that we are getting closer to immanatizing the eschaton, but in fact, eternally missing the mark.

  • @caveatemp We know just how consciousness is experienced in biology. We don't have any notion of what it could be like in heavy metal and silicon.

  • @caveatemp There's a lot we don't know. I don't know if it is possible to create an ideal either, I'm really going off of limited knowledge of what seems to be the best path. Based on my current knowledge, creating a true earthly heaven isn't possible, which is why I see it as potentially necessary to extend humanity's time and chances to think about and recognize things, and thus be fine with "leaving the universe" through the end of sensation.

  • @Alastair True, much of transhumanism is speculative. If it's at all possible that it could be a hell waiting why not then also be informed by Jesus Christ? "Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it." If resurrection is a possibility do you really want to short circuit it by avoiding biological death?

  • @caveatemp That would be making the assumption that I were christian and believed in the ability of Jesus to do anything for humanity. There is a certain wisdom in those words, but I don't think it's refering to transhumanism so much as the ideology of concern for "real". Let go of "life" and you'll soon discover intimate things about stuff, extending your ability to live. Of course, that's simply my interpretation.

If the rest of this is going to be a conversion attempt, end it now.

  • @Alastair That interpretation is so vague as to be virtually meaningless. What do you mean by "real" and "life"? You're obviously giving them special meanings. And if you're trying to promote your vision of transhumanism or try to engage me in some kind of atheistic conversation, you can forget about it.

  • @caveatemp There's a character limit, so I couldn't go in to as much detail as I would have liked without posting too many things. Anyway, I'm not promoting atheism in these comments, but I am promoting transhumanism. I was using a very standard definition of real and life, which is why they were in quotes. I consider the standard understanding to be flawed.

If you don't feel comfortable communicating with an atheist about on topic things without bringing up God, that's okay.

  • @Alastair If you believe in transhumanism then I would argue that you are not an atheist. You believe you are God. You fit the theist's definition of God anyway. You are not created and through your own agency you have eternal life. You can also create life, artificial life. You are fully engaged in theology. All the more ironic of you telling me to drop the conversion. Forget what's real (reality) Let go of life, and stuff will extend your life span. Is that your manifesto? Doesn't make sense.

  • @caveatemp I do know theology, but I don't believe God is a good word to use, and a posthuman wouldn't fit the definition of the theistic god, though does come a lot closer than we do now. This also has little to do with the paranormal help you were asking me to seek, as transhumanism has nothing to do with the paranormal.

It extends life span through reduction of suffering and stress. It's not my manifesto. Life span isn't the important part. The important part is clarity of perception.

  • @Alastair It's hard to see how letting go of reality is going to give you clarity of perception. Do you want to let go of the meaning of words as well? That's all I was giving you with the Jesus quote. Certainly not paranormal help. Explain how the posthuman doesn't fit the theistic definition of God? The intelligence differential between you and a teran would be comparable to a human and a cow. You'd be all-knowing (compared to the cow), all powerful (breed them as you please) and all good.

  • @caveatemp Posthumans weren't always there or born in a perfect state, they can't be unknowable, not omnipotent, not true immortal, and we can reach them through our own efforts. Reality was reality as thought of by people, which is filled with illusory things. You lose grip on and stare straight at the illusory things for the clarity of perception, so you may see the nature of reality. I apologize for the lack of complete clarity in what I write, but I'm doing my best with a character limit.

  • @Alastair Actually, they can definitely fit in as gods from a polytheistic standpoint. Norse gods were entirely vulnerable to death. The post-human is not an omnipotent being, as it can't prevent its own death based on what we know about the universe. As for being an omnibenevolent being, one can only hope that is what would occur. It makes sense to me that we would seek to make ourselves better and less likely to harm, but people do a lot of things that don't make sense to me.

  • @Alastair If you were not created, neither you personally nor the universe as a whole, then the primary illusion is that you are not God. Not knowing this proves that you are unknowable even to yourself. From there you confront your own theodicy. Now you're trying to convert me with your posthuman/postmodern non-reasoning!

  • @caveatemp Sorry, but I just don't think that not being created or being overpowered makes someone a God. Otherwise, I would be a pantheist. It just makes them something that wasn't created or just a being with those qualities. It strikes me as clinging to an old tradition. In which case, the illusion is that "God" exists at all outside of ideology floating around in everyone's minds. You call it non-reasoning perhaps because you're so attached to the reality of a God?

  • @Alastair I also notice you didn't object to your omnibeneficence. I'm sure you don't suffer from pride either.

  • @caveatemp If I thought my existence was absolutely benevolent, I wouldn't be trying to change my body and advance my mind. I think it's a possible thing for a post-human to achieve. I am not trying to convert you at all, I don't need you to be a posthuman or to turn from your God. However, I am having a conversation with you who believes in something so different, so perhaps I may say things you don't like. I guess the same could be said of what you said before.

  • @Alastair The only difference is that I perceived a possibility of you attempting to draw me away from things by mentioning sacrificing a possibility of resurrection due to Jesus. That IS a supernatural, or at least a praeternatural claim. One I'm not prepared to accept anymore. Everything I say is based on introspection/perception and natural reality/sensation in combination with revelations about consensus reality through science. Faith is pure unfiltered sensation + no/fake explanation.

  • @Alastair Now you see the irony of your "don't convert me" statement and perhaps the assumptions you're making about me in terms with my theology. I don't need to convert you from anything either. Dismissing an argument by saying, "Don't convert me" is a logical fallacy. Everyone that puts forth a viewpoint is in essence converting. You're trying to convince me that your view is valid, cohesive, non-contradictory. You have failed spectacularly. But you're a good bullshitter! Fun at a party.

  • @caveatemp You're so antagonistic for no reason at all. But I did consider that I was making assumptions about your beliefs. I was wondering if I should have done that or not.

Also, I'm not dismissing your argument that way, I'm simply asking you not to try to speak about resurrection through christ at me.

You speak garbage and then claim victory when there wasn't even a debate in the first place? This isn't a debate.

  • @Alastair So right! This is not a debate! Would you like another drink? Try the pesto. It's fantastic!

Please do not speak to me of immortality through technology! I need to be much more drunk for that talk!

  • @caveatemp I was just pleased to be having a conversation with someone that wasn't a complete idiot, theist or not, up until that one statement. I was hoping religion wouldn't enter this conversation. I am interested in the specifics of what you believe in, but I'm concerned about how you would react. If communicating causes unnecessary antagonism towards me, atheists, or transhumanists, it's better than you don't experience that. It's also better than I don't see that I caused that.

  • @Alastair Oh! You would fit right in to my dinner party. Your statements sound so perennially new age, with a touch of psycho babble. Have you tried the rope swing? You will be scored heavily on the dismount. After that we have a gallon jar of brandy infused fresh peaches from our tree. Do you play an instrument or sing?

  • @Alastair You were not always here but you were not created. This is self contradictory. It's what is commonly called cognitive dissonance. Sorry, your worldview makes no logical sense to me. I can respect your right to believe in it, but the right to believe anything does not mean that anything you believe is right. I'll stick with logic. It makes sense to me.

  • @caveatemp You could at least try instead of spouting nonsense and then claim it as logic. There are more than two possibilities. The stuff composing my body wasn't created, but wasn't always aligned to form it. My mind wasn't always aware or able to experience, it may not have even existed before the body, but that seems equivalent or irrelevant in the face of a mind that can't experience. I can go a lot deeper with this, but I don't want to communicate with you anymore.

  • @Alastair I see! You are only your mind. Your mind does not extend past to what caused it. Then you have the problem of infinite regression. That's tidy. I understand your non-communicativeness. I would still invite you to a dinner party. I hope you come.

  • @caveatemp I don't know whether to speak to you or not. It seems like you've gone from coherency to full-on trollan, though. Whether said trollan is conscious or just your way of dismissing people that are too ridiculous isn't something I'm able to tell. I don't play instruments or sing anymore, but if there are people who would speak to me about interesting things, I wouldn't mind attending any such hypothetical gatherings.

  • @Alastair Are you talking about Orko from He-Man? I just searched it. I've never read it. I have read a lot of Kurt Vonnegut. I'm more a Tralfamadorian. Let me know when you're in the south-east.

  • first part maks sense to me...

  • Okay, your a good little slave.Warwick is of our greatest enemies, betrays our birthright and teaches others to do so,and i will hate him and what he stands for forever;and now you.

  • @leroysky96 what good is freedom without direction or ability? You could sacrifice abit of freedom to gain the power to achieve what you want, or you could stick with living the life of a hermit.

  • @AlternateArtisan Yes, but the AGENDA and the intention of the mentors is to dump true humankind and replace us with hive minded bio-cybernetic chimeric entities ; nothing resembling human.

Then to send us off into "other worlds" if we don't join. That doesn't piss you off as a currently free human being?

  • @leroysky96 you're looking at one of the worst case scenarios where society has become so stratified that they'd seek to remove unmodified humans. It's not going to be like that. The majority of humanity will still retain their humanity simply because of cost reasons, personal philosophy. Once an individual achieves clinical immortality, I think the whole imperative of greed and lust for total power dies.

  • @AlternateArtisan I have no problem with the lame walking with assistance or the eyes being restored artificially or bonafied true handicaps being substituted ; those are all good things.

I have no problem with alternate energies but we don't need to change what we are, and besides, the transhumanist mentors have stated their plans no matter what we want.

  • @leroysky96 not all transhumanists want world domination.

  • @AlternateArtisan Would you join us to fight the one's who do?

  • @leroysky96 the one's who do are such a small minority it won't be a threat. their views are as extreme as those of the nazis and the 'racial purists'

  • They might change themselves, but they won't be their selves anymore, trans species biocybernetic entities.

  • We won't be twittling our thumbs either ,go drill some holes in your head, better get a diamond tip for your hard head , .....freak.

  • I don't agree with transhuman philosophies. For example, natural mother's milk is better for an infant than infant formula - even though in an attempt to make money it was promoted as "better." Technology is pretty much a fraud.

As a victim of organized stalking/electronic harassment, I can tell you that fantasies about these "wonderful" technologies are a cover up for forcing one's ideologies and experimentation on the innocent "other."

  • @Roselime1

This isn't transhumanism, this is just feminist bullshit.

  • @Roselime1 Ofcourse, we're no where close to being able to outdo nature, all we're trying to achieve is to give those whom have lost their natural components, artificial replacements. A synthetic life is still better than no life.

  • @AlternateArtisan It depends. Take a look at the deaf communities and blind communities to see how those debates rage there. It's not a question of "better" - it's a question of free will. It should be up to the people with the "impairments" to make those decisions, not up to the people who would make $ from this.

It turns out my problem is an EH one and the "organized stalking" thing is just a behavior modification sham. Sorry if my neo-luddite tendencies kick in a bit.

  • @Roselime1 Ofcourse, no one is forcing disable people to be modified, they opt to have surgury themselves.

  • Most elements of being male and female are cultural social constructs , why should a women wear a dress? We all have so called male and female pscological and personality traits and this continuum of traits allows for a diverse capability of dealing with pscological and emotional demands. As we evolve and become more free of course are psychological and emotional environment is gonna become more diverse as we no longer have to just stick to certain categories or social expectations

  • OMG Shulamith Firestone would love this.

  • Women are so psychotic!! They just can't stop with these bullshit movements!! FUCK!

  • I think Shuloma is brilliant but even she came to consider the idea of artificial wombs somewhat naive, by the mid-eighties. Most of what she wrote preceded our understanding of the complex relationship between mother and child during pregnancy.

  • Very Good!

  • Normal human beings with have to fight these freaks for the survival of our race. We are fools if we think otherwise;superior intelligence breeds superior ambition and arrogance.

  • @leroysky96 hey, screw you!

    You're the freaks, not us!

We're going to build a New World Order whether you damn well like it or not, SO GO TO HELL

    It's practically already here.

But go cling to your guns and your bible in your trailer, I'm sure you'll be able to stop the bulldozers and the freight trains.

  • @AnonymousElektron FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHhahahahahahahahahahhaha

  • @AnonymousElektron At least we'll go to heaven or be reincarninated or something, you folks have to go to the tech yard and get parts for your brains, take meds for the side effects of animal genes they will force you to take;you'll be an intellectual robot chinken, fiddle and all.

  • @AnonymousElektron You need to go to e-bay and put your soul up for sale, unless you sold it to little nicky.

  • @AnonymousElektron Do you honestly think they are going to let you run around like superman or wonderwoman ? They'll inject you will the citizen chip and tweak you up for slavery; fool.

  • @leroysky96 bullshit.

Any technology that goes in my body will be under my control, and open source.

I control technology, it doesn't control me.

I'm not afraid of new tech, I'm excited by it.

Maybe you need to call geek squad or something when your yellowing dell I can tell that typing is a great challenge for you; can you even touch-type?

It looks like you typed those stupid messages by pounding your forehead against the keyboard.

  • @AnonymousElektron No, I put U in nothung, and I took I out.Because that is what you are.Hell, you can also watch them bulldoze your family and friends homes as well if they don't swallow your nwo frogs.

  • @leroysky96 I have complete control over my cell phone, my car, my workstation, my treadmill's firmware, my camera, my implant -- everything.

Again, technology isn't a threat to me, if anything, people are.

And technology can just as well empower people as it can disempower.

By your logic, we should ban things like guns, or encryption, because they could possibly be misused by the wrong people.

I can't wait to get a nerve-interface array like Dr Warwick.

Welcome to the New World Order, wanker.

  • @AnonymousElektron You are a threat to yourself, because you sell out your birthright for toyz and joyz. It has already hardened you; you'll be abhorrant!

  • @leroysky96 When DARPA sends their Biodesigned super human synthetically fabricated police force, just tell 'em you are in the nwo ,I'm sure they'll release you immediately; important as you are. Or they might just do the usual, hold you down and drill holes in your head and may you a submissive little avatar.

  • @leroysky96 unwilling slaves are unproductive. 'They' who ever they are, won't do something so unweildy.

  • @AnonymousElektron I'm a heathen just like you, so don't pull that

anti-god crap outta your butt either.

  • @AnonymousElektron If you you want the nwo,

go sign your ass up; you could work for warwick and give him

a suck when he needs it.

  • @leroysky96 Kevin Warwick is a great man, who is helping to lead the way.

I actually already have a chip installed, I was so excited when my colleague got one.

I stayed up all night writing scripts to interface with my rfid reader, services to start and stop xscreensaver based on proximity, etc.

Took me awhile to get it just the way I like it.

I know computers are just magical black boxes to you, so I can see why you're so afraid of them.

But, for some of us, technology is a tool to be used.

  • @leroysky96 as I said, it would be my honor to work with Dr Warwick.

I've had the privilege of meeting George Soros once, and I told him how cybernetics has changed my life.

And it will change yours, too.

  • @AnonymousElektron Speaking of religion...what hell is wrong with

people trying change their hearts?! And why would you destroy your self by doing idiotic modifications just to prove you hate God?Destroy yourself because of your theo-mystical denial.

  • @leroysky96 are pacemakers idiotic?

    Or prosthetic limbs?

How about eye prosthesis (glasses) are you opposed to those, as well?

One day soon, we will have mind prosthesis, to enhance cognition, directly.

    That's how it will start.

And all of our problems will seem so trivial.

I'm not sure who we'll be, but I'm sure that we'll be better off for it.

You don't have to join us if you don't want to, you can go live in a dirt cave and die of cholera for all I care.

    There will always be haters.

  • @AnonymousElektron I tell you what ,this person stuck their head in outta the rain,

and now their are shut up like a sour bearded clam.

  • @leroysky96

Tell me. Will an olympic athelete go in front of a group of gang members and brag about his ability? Transhumans will undoubtly be aware that insiting hate against their own kind will be counterproductive. They will do everything possible to fit in.

  • @leroysky96 To get to any transumanistic state we must first learn what it means to be human. We will have to refine psychology to get a balance within that reflects a balance around us, a harmony. We will learn all the variables of life in it's full spectrum from matter to energy . This will take all the science amalgamating into one science. Systems.

  • @leroysky96

    You're a fucking bigot.

  • @vaguelyhumanoid I'm a bigot because I'm pissed because the powers that be are destroying our soil ,corrupting the genes of our fish and livestock , and tranhumanist have an ultimate plan to capture our souls and force everyone into a hive mentality ; thats only the obvious reasons.

  • @leroysky96 No, I called you a bigot for calling people who reject the gender binary "freaks" and implying that people should physically attack them. If that's not what you're saying, please be clearer next time. Also, I've never heard of transhumanists supporting forcing people into a hivemind. I've always thought of transhumanism as being based around voluntary choice. Also, I oppose the powers that be, since I'm an anarchist. That has noting to do with transhumanism. Also, what are "souls"?

  • @vaguelyhumanoid I'm not really concerned about our "woo woos" and our "pee pees" . I am concerned about humankind going exstinct because of our recklessness. We act like we have got a spare planet or something and we don't at this time and there isn't any promise of one in the NEAR future.

  • @leroysky96(I know i'm replying to an "old" comment) but you clearly haven't thought your comment through. Why would we program ourselves with the same "defects" (like arrogance, feelings of superiority, and hatred) that we would be trying to DISTANCE ourselves from? These "transhumans" or whatever, would have no urge to start a "war" with normal people. If anything, due to humanity's fear of things we don't understand (Your comment confirms this!) it would be HUMANS who try and start a war...

  • @FutileFreak That is wonderful , if you were the one doing the programming. The transhumanists have stated their goals both good and bad. Do your own research , but do a detailed study watching several videos and listen to the plans for average humans , it won't really matter whether we are as we are or transgender ,it will be a matter of choice of what we want to hand over and what we want to let go of; what we keep might not be what we want.

  • @leroysky96 I agree that there probably are some dangers, But technology will continue to become more advanced no matter what. But peace and social revolutions take a VERY long time to develop (it took a long time for whites to realize that blacks are people too)But the consequences for our irrational hatred toward each other are MUCH higher nowadays when technologys like nuclear bombs could be involved.

What i'm trying to say is that if we don't evolve OURSELVES soon, we will destroy ourselves.

  • eh, im a guy and i think this would be acceptable in due time. Eventually the rise in science and technology (in this case in the realm of biology) will lead humans to taking advantage of every possible constituent of our being. nevertheless i dont really care if postgenderism happens or not.

  • @vcxshgfd I am anti-chimeric and anti-transbiology , but there are alot we can use genetics for besides for tweaking, they suppress the good research and expand the crappy stuff.

  • girls cldn last a second in our world. get back in the kitchen where it's safe.

  • this is the only transhuman idea i object.

  • I embrace transhumanism and I also embrace the idea of lifting the physical burden of pregnancy and childbirth by creating the artificial alternative. I know that many people will object to the idea, repulsed by the thought of changing what is considered one of the most natural things about us into something very unatural. However, please remember that isf this were to become possible it will probably be completely voluntary, so women who do wish to bear children naturally may do so.

  • @Lou500 I know I am late in commenting on this but I read your post and wonder what is wrong with you ( in a nice way). If we start having artificial wombs for women who can bear children but don't want to that creates a standard in society that woman are no longer the child bearers and therefore become not as important to society. Harvest their eggs and send them on their way. Why are you so in support of something that goes against God, Nature and everything? Do you hate being your gender?

  • I'm all for making life better, but this is fucking creepy.

  • how so

  • @Nulono ditto, some fucked up shit right here

  • BRAVO

    GO GENDER NEUTRALITY!!!

  • To those of you interested in this topic would do well to read Ursula K. Le Guin's stories based on Gethen. "The left hand of darkness," is a full novel taking place on that world, and there is also "Coming of age in Karhide," short story printe dinthe collection, "The Birthday of the World". I think that removing the ability to reproduce as individuals is risky, since it leaves the population reliant on external devices to breed. In times of catastrophe that could end the biological line.

  • ADDTV, your data is superb dude :)

  • Isn't there proof that the Y chromosome is phasing out anyway due to degradation? We may have to rely on some of this technology to continue the species eventually. There are doctors conducting transhumanistic research that may delay or halt the degradation so men don't completely disappear. Not only is there a problem with your argument, but the solution to it involves embracing transhumanistic principles that you're attempting to bash anyway. Wow ADDTV, does that make you feel stupid?

  • You are right about ADDTV being too indifferent with his criticism. But still it is very good to have some critic voices in a society that otherwise either is worshipping technology or being plainly ignorant. It`s important to have discussions about new ideas and technologies. For we should be careful while shaping our future.

  • @manicmemellow You did not make a point. There is no phasing out of the Y chromosome. How can there be.. Think about it Our DNA is complex and many factors go into having a male or a female. 2. Why do you like Transhumanistic research? Do you hate mankind as God or Nature made it. Are you a a person who is so scared of what they are that they want to change it quick and soon? ADDTV made some great points about what is going on in the ethic of science and you want to quicken the pace. Why?

  • Excellent expose. Thank you.

  • this path would be a devolution.. the path of natural man is the only path towords accention intergration evolution multidimensionality and better spelling lol ..we must retain our individuality, soul self, lets not be inserted into this hive matrix crap in witch we may be stuck for milinea

  • oh shut up

  • some creepy stuff.

  • Why is Transhumanism such a problem? I think making humans better would be a great thing for our species to survive

  • Our species is human the final stage of transhumanism is not human, see where you statement clashes?

  • We are still a human being if we merge with some technology that we have created. Were still human beings. We are just up graded and are better off. Why is it that so many people recject this?

  • for one thing, there are infinite variables. there is no way of saying what each new "upgrade" will bring. we are getting in over our heads.

  • We don't even know if this will be possible tho. I hope this is not for the glory of religion going against it. I really hope your doing it for the rights of humans and the ones that will be left out.

  • That is a silly argument and very shortsighted.

It would be the equivalent of someone saying, ages ago, "oh, let's not mess up with fire (or electricity, or anything new , unknown and full of potential) because we don't know what might come out of it, we may be getting in over our heads"

Without innovation(and people with balls to try them out) and experimentation we'd be sitting in a cold cave, hunting with wooden tools and dying at the age of 30.

    Grow up...

  • indeed

  • @tommytalks77 Please.. Chaning gender to allow males to have babies is not akin to producing fire or making a Iphone.. Dude get better arguments as ADDTV is talking about changing what we are as a species. Go see the move Splice and tell me that fucking with nature is a good thing.. We should have ethics in science to prevent us from going down the wrong path of science and that is changing ourselves for the worst

  • @Tbone282 LMAO, you are using a MOVIE as an argument, as prove of anything?

    Get real...
