  • If you don't want the extra clipping from the JSX mute circuit, it needs to be modified with a 6505+ style mute circuit.

  • I no longer see the schematic for this mod. Is there any way I could get it?

  • @Drakkartyrannis It's basically a 6505+ with extra diode clipping from the relay switching mute circuit on the JSX. Gives it more of an aggressive attack. The voltages to the plates were kept the same as in the JSX.

  • The red channel got a Marshall 1959 style tone stack with a 33k slope resistor and 470pf cap. Yellow Channel is stock 6505+ Lead Channel. Clean channel is a 6505+ hybrid with the JSX tone stack.

  • how could i learn how to mod my jsx like this, or how much does it cost??? it sounds sick!!!
