Thank you all for your comments and responses. It seems like the majority of you think pitching should be next. I agree. I said in the past that pitching should have been the number 1 priority this off season. Let's see what they do over the next few weeks.
Well there is Jarrod washburn, and jon garland, sign both of them. then, MAYBE get Blalock to play first, use murphy as bench to cover the loss of tatis. then see if omar can get a discount on Dotel. i dont know about catching. lol. what do you think?

matt cerrones blog talks about platooning garko at 1b with murphy over the idea of lowell/murphy at first because they put up similar numbers last year, with garko being much much cheaper... what do you think garko/murphy at 1st?
I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I'm afraid that Zambrano's attitude and habit of wearing his emotions on his sleeve might be bad for our clubhouse. Also, I don't think that Pineiro is a good option. I'd like either Wang or Sheets. Problem with Sheets would be giving up a draft pick for signing what we already know is damaged goods, but would be worth it if he can prove that he's recovered. Of course, the same could be said for Wang as for Sheets, I'm eagerly awaiting Omar's move :D.
i agree hes not as bad as people think because the only thing that you think when luis castillo is mentioned is the dropped popup, he would be good to trade because hes pretty good but he is getting old
I def feel we need to bring in another bat or 2 but most importantly i think we need to first bring in a legitimate #2 starter to go along with Santana, have you heard about the Zambrano rumors? No not that Zambrano thankfully the right Zambrano, Carlos Zambrano lol. I do feel getting him would be somewhat of a longshot but I think he would be a very good fit for the team. Next on my list would be pitching, pitching, and more pitching. A #2 and #3 starter would be nice and a set up man. In this world of the "Hot Stove" league this all seems so simple and in reality it is hard to fulfill all of your needs but the Mets front office has to focus on pitching. If they can't get the 3 pitchers they need to do something.
I'd like to see the Mets finish their next season so football can get started......then watch what Cutler does when he has a REAL Offensive Coordinater!!
