I heard about this 600 kcal a day diet. now im type 2 11 stones (skinny with a potbelly). I work out 4 times a week cardio and such. should I still follow this diet or should I rise the calorie intake or just stick to the 600 anyway or what? please help
Depends if you are type 1 or 2. If you are type one, you have to take insulin. For type 2, only weight lose, change of diet and exercise can help. Every fruit contains the sugar, but choose ones which emulates slowly in the blood (apricot, apple). Also I found out that pomegranate even lowers the sugar a little bit (strong natural antioxidant).
The only way to lower bloodsugar is to change your diet and lose weight, also to have 30min minimum regular exercise 3 - 4 times per week like walking. And you have to research wich vegetables and fruits you can eat, As some might increase your blood sugar levels, like bananas etc..
@DivineLight59 no, it dosent work for diabets, you must take insulin, because your internal insulin production is zero, no any fruits or other food will help for this shortage.
