Of all the renditions of this song I've heard, this is the most emotional and beautiful by far. Your videos always put me in a good mood. Thank you for sharing your playing with us :)
At that time, i felt a huge pressure to arrange and play "One-Winged Angel", i almost gave up to continue my efforts. Then many friends on YouTube encouraged me to keep on.
In order to express my sincere gratitude, i played this song^^
Yo no conozco los temas que presentas en guitarra pero realmente suenan muy lindo, me encanta cómo ejecutas la guitarra, me encantaría poder tocar así... =D!
This time what I saw in your comment is that this guitar too is a true friend of mine. And I am very happy to realize that there are tremendous potentiallity not yet revealed. For example, when I recorded this song I felt pretty new sound. I played it for more than 20 years but that was the first sound for me. I sincerely realized that i did not know this guitar fully. I can and will keep on making some more efforts... :)
What's up with your videos? They are very.. calming and soothing to the senses.. whats that word, voluptuous. Another great arrangement, can't wait for the next one!
hahaha... i did not use any sound-effect such as reverb and delay. this is natural sound of a guitar. also i did not change or modify the video picture at all... so i too do not know what happened either... :)
I like this one quite much. hehe, the notes played in 01:38-01:42 remind me of a song i used to sing as a runt. I can't recall the name, but i suppose it was some finnish kids song.. Thx for shaking up old memories.
So epic.. beautiful. Thanks again Lonlon.. I love revisiting your old videos =]

i like the way you move your fingers, lonlonjp. so gentle & gracefully.
i was searching for guitar tabs online but feeling something not right with those guitar tabs i found...especially the Breezy ff8 guitar tabs...
ignoring the difficulties, i wish i could play more closely to the original...

This song I believe was also used as the opening and primary motif score for the Nintendo DS release of FFIV, was it not?

hey,
this is my favorite of uematsu's songs. i think if i saw this performed live i would cry a single, manly tear. so emotional. FFV was my favorite too.
i will look forward to "home sweet home". thats another song that is very emotional

Yay, another FFV song! Neat to know Dear Friends was written for guitar.
I'm actually in the middle of re-playing FFV right now; it helps me de-stress after graduate school classes. :)
