Arkansas plays in the Western Division of the SEC which is the nations toughest conference. Missouri plays in the laughable North Division of the Big 12.

Yet the records the last 10 years aren't even comparable. But you have been the better football program as of recent years???? Get a clue...

@MarcusKiner We had McFadden but we didn't have a head coach. Reggie Herring, who had never been a head coach before, was the interim head coach and clearly did an awful job preparing for that game. IIRC we were missing some other assistant coaches who had already left Arkansas for other jobs.

I'm from St. Louis and have seen Wingo play live a bunch of times. He is a good player but he is way overrated for all the hype he receives. He is a gifted athlete but at 6'3 215 he runs really soft. He won't make a big impact wherever he goes.

I thought the exact same thing about McFadden. I watched him play in HS his Sr year and I thought Arkansas made a huge mistake by signing him. I told everyone he was a bust and that he was soft. I ate those words. What a kid does in HS is not necessarily indicative of what he will do at the collegiate level.

It all depends on how he is developed. He will be fine at Arkansas.

We have more All-Americans, Bowl Apearrences, Conference Championships, a National Championship, More major College Football Award Winners, more NFL draft choices, more NFL HOFs, a better coaching pedigree, the list goes on and on. And thats just football!

Obviously, we would love to see this cat stay home and represent his state but he'll do great anywhere he goes. What amazes me is how deceptive his speed is. His legs are so long that it looks like he's moving slow when he's fuckin' flyin'. This kid tore up the track in the 200 meter I believe. He's a beast. Hopefully he'll become part of the Mizzou team and be a part of our continuing dominance of the Illini.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Appleton's dad said he hasn't committed to anyone yet and that he's definitely interested in Mizzou. Not that we are going to go down in flames without him. We just landed a kid from Pennsylvania that's every bit as good. Besides, you've been out recruiting us for years now but it hasn't helped you a damn bit. You haven't beat us yet this millenium. That's because Zook can recruit but he can't coach. Florida fired his ass for that reason.
