I don't think I'd call the move a copy of the wiimote, otherwise you'd have to call natal a copy of the play station eye. Instead of being copies of earlier technology, both these accesories are improvements on existing technology to make gaming more accessible to more people.

As fo Sony forgetting about hardcore gamers, I'd hardly call Socom 4 a casual game. The main problem with the Wii is it simply couldn't support as major games as the PS3 can.

I think Sony has a bit of catching up to do. Microsoft has gone and introduced new ways to store your media and game software[hard copy/digital copy], and continue to evolve it's sense of gaming experience. The only thing that Sony has which Microsoft doesn't is a portable console. Where MS focuses on it's user gaming and overall console experience and use, Sony is expanding it's multimedia capabilities by allowing you to link portable consoles to home, allowing access to your media anywhere.
