Excellent song! Laden with history, philosophy, poetry, emotion and power - I used to sing it to my kids when they were babies... (Don't agree with treason, though).
One of my favorite songs of theirs. They do a a great job of telling a story of the history of the mutiny at The Nore and Spithead. Citizen mutineers indeed!!
Shite... I Love that fucking song!!!...saw them a million years ago at The Westward in Calgary, Canada and again last month at the Calgary Folkfest....brilliant band...even did a cool Clash cover...
Wow, never seen this video. Just whets the appetite for the gig next week. Saw them in August at Beautiful Days and they were the highlight of the weekend
Never saw this video before but one of my favourite songs ever from one of the best live bands I ever saw. The hairs on the back of my neck are standing on end even as I write.
Fantastic. Only ever seen this video th one time when it won the video vote on Saturday Superstore!! If I remember correctly it beat Fleetwood Mac Little Lies. I do remember the "colour by numbers" silhouettes and the semaphore flag waving. Great - thanks Gigny!!
Stefan Cush in fine form. Great stuff! I've wanted to see this clip again for over 15 years! Fell in love with this band the first time I heard this song. Today I suppose the Semphaphore seems silly, but it didn't seem so in 1987 when compared to all that Wham garbage.
great song great album thx lads

Treasonous scum, loyal to Bonapartist tyranny. Keep that noose tight.

@skeptickful I'd take Boneparte, for all his flaws, over any preening toff you have to offer- in 1796 or in 2011!

This is one of the best british bands ever. Long liveEngland!! In spite of a brownie Cameron-stained government!!

Totally agree about them being so under rated. Their version of Green Fields of France is the best I have heard too.
