@GilaTomster Also, it took Goku a little while to learn about the outside world because a lot of the time he spent as a kid was in the wild. His idea of food was fresh wolf, birds, rabbits, fish, and the occasional ants worms and whatever other insects he found as a snack.

Then it was released in America about 7 or 8 years later. Plus it the series started out with Goku as a 12 year old boy NOT in high scool but simply as a lone kid at a dojo training himself after his grandfather Gohan died, who originally trained him long b4 he met master roshi.

Goku is in high school and the dragonballs weren't created by piccolo. Those are the two main ones. A decent majority of the actors are asian to as well as the director's. So don't blame american's. If it sucks at least we gave it a shot.
