  • @AutomaticUniverse its all good i figured it out my computer had higher resolution than my tv i just had to switch my PC resolution.

  • when i plug in my cord the television sais "not supported" can somone please help?

  • @tyren221 Like yo, you need a FLAT SCREEN that has 1080P Pee.

  • @tyren221 Change the resulution of ur computer.

  • I put my VGA cable into the tv but it said "Check input signal" what does that mean?

  • @mbk109 Your TV can't process the 1080p coming from your computer. I'm startin' to think I lucked out with this LG, because it worked with no problem. Check for a "driver download" if your TV is 1080p.

  • @AutomaticUniverse YoUR TV DOES NOT HAVE TO BE 1080p!!! You can set the resulution to anything you like. I have a 1080p TV but I have the resolution on the computer set to 720p to let the stress down on the graphics card

  • @flushstuff If I had a junky TV, I would try that.

  • how good is the quality?

  • @AnotherClutch If your TV has "1080p" then you'll have the best quality picture,.. for a Television.

  • @AutomaticUniverse I hook my basic computer screen plug into the PC outlit on my t.v, it still does not work? i do not have an audio cord but i don't think that would effect it would it? please help me. I have a Samsung 50 inch plasma, if that helps.

  • @sutton123454 Check and see if Samsung has a "driver download", I didn't need one for my LG.

  • @AutomaticUniverse I'm thinking maybe it's an HDMI cable i might need?

  • @sutton123454 If your computer and TV has HDMI slots, then definately go for it.

  • i hooked my vga up and i can see a blue background but nothing on my laptop screen ie.. shortcuts or anything else shows on the tv... wondering whats wrong or what i am doing incorrectly

  • @IXianGriffin I hooked up a LG TV to a DELL computer, and it worked without a driver.

  • @AutomaticUniverse Well Um I Put The Input On Pc And nothing showed up

  • Shut down your computer, then turn it back on. If you don't get a picture you made need to download some DRIVER information, from the maker of your TV.

  • Um I Have A Problem, I Just Connected My VGR Cable From My Computer To My Tv And Nothing Shows Up On The Tv. Please Help

  • You may need to set the TV "input" button to your vgr slot number.

  • so what your saying...i could go on tv catchup? and say goodbye to bills

  • Yup, catchup on your other bills, by watching TV with your computer. Thousands of people are already doin' it. To hell with cable TV, the cost is to dam high,.. just like the rent.

  • I have mine hooked up exactly like this but it gets stuck on a blue screen. But in if I started my computer in safe mode it works perfectly fine.

  • My TV came with a driver, a driver disc.

  • @AutomaticUniverse So I just need a driver for my tv? I dont think I have the disc anymore.. think I could download one?

  • The maker of your TV should have a website, it's worth a look, they may have a driver that you can download.
