It depends on your price plan whether internet is included free, but the phone also connects to WiFi.

I love Google and all of their softwares but their phone is still not good enough. Touch sensor is some how not very sensitive, It's little slow too. This G2 could not convince me to replace my Iphone 3G

Have you even tried to use a G1? It's spec'd higher than the iPhone 3G (read: is FASTER), the touch is just as responsive as any phone touch screen (I think you're the only one I've ever read complaining about this), and OS is open so third-party apps can actually fully utilize the phone's capabilities (unlike iPhone). For most uses a G1 is the same as an iPhone, but raw specs show the G1 to be superior (you can play Quake3 on it for crying out loud!).

i would definetly get the G2, i got the G1 n i'm kinda pissed off because all the new features r not inlcuded in the G1. my negative feed back about the G1. battery sucks no JOKE,no video recording,no on screen keyboard within the software, no offline messaging ( new inovation included in G2) so far the european version sucks even more than the american counterpart.crap market apps, if u want more features lyk multitouch u need to get "root" muti media sucks compared to walkman ph, give it 2yrs

First off, people need to stop comparing iphone to g1, or iphone to magic, or iphone to storm, etc etc. Whoever came up with the idea of full touch screen is already making money. they dont care bout u guys. so dont care bout them.

2nd, there will be people who would like HTC's phone so dont go down as low as saying HTC copied Apple. It's just like saying Japanese carmakers copied US carmakers. both have a different market, so everyone just needs to respect that.

First off, saying apple's the first people to come up with the concept of touchscreen phones is like saying they're the first ppl 2 make mp3 players. Try googling Pocket PC ppl. and yes whenever apple makes something every 1 will try nd copy it, but HTC has been making touchscreen phones for like ever I don't even think they hace an UN touchscreen phone.

I dont mean to be a fanboy, but the iPhone did get here first and since january 06 everything seems to be copying it. Two examples are LG and Samsung. They shit out an iPhone look-a-like a week. Its amazing.

Actually, the iPhone was only available from the end of June 2007, and the HTC Touch was available from the beginning of June 2007. Therefore, I am afraid that you have it the wrong way around - HTC came up with the concept of a 'touchphone' first.
