Ever think of the possibility of it being a planet inbetween us and the sun? If it were the radiant glow from all the intense sunlight would make it, a planet, seem larger than it really is...Seems like a reasonable possibility right? Right?

@walleyman666 Even still, such a planet would not be visible in the daytime easily. Before Einstein's Theory of Relativity explained it, there was a belief that a planet, possibly two, lay closer to the Sun than Mercury, thus distorting its' orbit. It was named 'Vulcan', which is where the planet from Star Trek got its' name from. Occasional transits (mini-eclipses) were seen, which are now largely believed to be asteroids or optical illusions

All I can say is if they are hiding, is be very wary of the date and year 21st December, 2012. Could that be the year of a mass invasion of some kind? Sun Dog. Refraction/reflection within the lens of the camera--happens all the time. No commercially or publicly available optics are perfect. Imperfections in the lens or particulate inside the lens assembly become noticeable when in direct sunlight because they reflect/refract light. Intense man-made light will usually render the same effect.

Well it didn't look like any of their unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) I have researched But I have seen that same exact design of an image of a sort of wrench shape with a C shape in the top of the arm in many of the satellite type constellations devices they use over my county in No. Calif. So I recognized the kind of crane arm shape of the bottom

almost immediately Japan supposely launched a new sun sychronized satellite (end of 08 or begining of 09) Maybe it is one of theirs

This is not a ufo sighting. There are several explanations for this. 1.) My best guess is there was either a scratch in your camera lens or a dust particle. 2.) There are some light phenomana called a sun-dog. These create small fragments of light near the sun by reflecting off of particles in the atmosphere. 3.) In some low resalution cameras pointing them directly at light creates reflection on the lens. 4) Satelite. Sorry i dont think this is classified as a ufo sighting more a misconseption

Ok first off, nowhere in the description or the title did I say it was a 'UFO'. Now...

1. The camera lens has no scratches on as the camera is well looked after

2. Satelitte, not likely as its day time! And there is no way I would have got one of those on camera, second of all look at its size! If its a satelitte, its a mighty big one!!!

3. Provide some details and links on this sun dog theory, please!

You'd be surprised how bright the ISS can be during the daytime. It could also be Mercury in an over exposed picture, or Venus or any other planet that was close to the Sun then. Or, possibly, you were fortunate enought to snap a shot of a daylight meteor

Good spotting Dave! Yes, it's strange how they hide by the sun. I have on film where these so-called balloons come directly from the direction of the sun. You would think they would pop being that close. But oh, no, they fly straight towards it until you become blinded by the suns rays. These balloons have light within them as if they are some energy force. Amazing!! Saturday, they just popped up and were very brilliant in color. I am still speechless. TC!
