i used a prom bow III and took me with 3 mins and 47 seconds left to pray. dunno why its that long but.. >.> i still managed to kill it.

It's also very easy to use a lance with fire attribute, keep hitting legs to trip it then you get about 6 hits to head then rinse wash repeat, but use water attribute on red khezu or else you'll be fighting forever with a fire lance

Yeah, of course you can. =) But Akantor set only gives Earplugs right? You need HGE to avoid the effects of Khezu's roar. But still, it's possible~

i am hunter rank 7 and i am wearing full set high rank rathalos soul armour. My current weapon is blacksmith. I had tried this same quest a few days ago and i completed it in 15min, dude just how did you killed it so fast? I go for it's left leg then triple pound it's head when its down on the ground. Help please:) thanks

I just went for the head. But supposedly, with ESP and a decent hammer, you can nail it in less than 8min. So says one Lord Grahf.

you have that set, instead of the S one, but you got blacksmith? how did you got those eltalite mineral or something like that? :S i cant improve mine, im hr5 :S

The S set have a different set of skills, which I don't find as useful as the village elder's HGE + Sharpsword + RA+1, so I stuck with the original set. Eltalite ores can be mined only when you are Hr7 and above.

was the armor u used high rank yian garuga or normal? also would rathalos soul combined with garuga be good as well?

I used the normal Yian Garuga armor. I haven't tried a mix of Rathalos Soul and YG but since they share similiar skills, I'm sure they will give some pretty decent buffs.

i find it not bringing the cat is better. that way i can applied your strategy on khezu much better. otherwise khezu focus too much on cat and it ruins the flow. again awesome guide

I beat you're record! I did it with the weapon and HGE and killed it in 11:33!! Unfortunately my heavy bowgun gravios didn't go as well... Died twice and it took me 45:07!! with less than 5 minutes less xD

Hmm. I would suggest getting a Fire LS and stay in the middle , slashing away like crazy. Should be dead in less than 5 min. LOL!

Just a suggestion when it's on the ground ko'd.... You can sneak an additional "circle button" hit in there for a quadruple pound if you have think you have the time.

Well ~ I suppose I could get an extra hit but the circle button does minimal dmg , and KO status is not applied when the target's already being KO-ed. But still , thanks for the tip. :)

I suggest you do some Gravios hammer training for expand pickaxes/Pokke points. After every round(even if you die, somehow), go to the farm and try to get Phantom Butterflies/Mellanje ores. You can use the PP to send Trenya to the Swamp(or maybe Jungle) for Eltalite ores. Using this method, I got Juggernaut in about a hour :D

u just need to HR up to 8 then farm for butterflies. then for robust wyvern bones just send trenya to great forest for 1500 then u'll get enough for the juggernaut

I know. I'm just telling Shimmer the best method to get Juggernaut at HR7. Phantom Butterflies and Mellanje ores appear in Bomb Mining and the Bug Tree after HR8, that's why they're easy to get afterwords.

Yeah I did that when I was in 2G. Not Gravios tho'. But I had several Expand Pickaxes to spare. Iirc I spent all of them on Phantom Butterflies. Duh. :(
