Yes, world hunger and all that other stuff going on in the world is bad, but it is there because we live in a fallen and sinful world, and I think God allows that to happen because He loves us, because when those people come to know Christ, yes they are physically hungry and weak, but spiritually they will be/are full in faith and love.

I am jealous of that girl. My parents are never home. I used to be suicidal and if I disappeared for hours they never came looking for me. Never called people to see where I was. I would come home and they would be surprised because they hadn't noticed I had left. If I was standing on the edge of a bridge, I have doubts that they would come find me. I'm better now because I know that God would notice if I was missing. I am the 1 lost sheep and he would search the world to find me.

I am jealous of that girl. My parents are never home. I used to be suicidal and if I disappeared for hours they never came looking for me. Never called people to see where I was. I would come home and they would be surprised because they hadn't noticed I had left. If I was standing on the edge of a bridge, I have doubts that they would come find me. I'm better now because I know that God would notice if I was missing. I am the 1 lost sheep and he would search the world to find me.

@mason9723 the book of Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25 says:"Therefore He( Jesus) is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." And the book 1 John, chapter 1 verse 9 says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

@mason9723 Mason, no matter what you have done in your life, it is not too bad for God to forgive. As you can see from the scriptures I have quoted you, He is wiling and ready to forgive you. Pray that Jesus will make your heart new and forgive you of your sins. TRUST Him to forgive you. Don't depend on your "good behavior" to save you. Depend ONLY on Him and confess that to Him and you will be saved. I am praying for you now.

I have prayed for you that you will find the answer you are looking for, which is how to be saved from your sin. If you have a bible, look up the verses I have sent you in my replies and read them for yourself. Simply trust Christ and what He did on the cross and nothing else to save you.

I saw them at WInterjam.
They played this song with the video, and when her dad pulled her off the bridge, I bawled.
Going to Winterjam and hearing this song along with seeing everyone else there just restored whatever faith I had lost.

I really like this music video. The girl (pretending she's not an actress...) must've forgotten that Jesus was in the boat with her, no matter how bad the storm got. All she would have to do is ask HIM to calm the storm. I think we need to remind people that Jesus is on their boats, no matter what the water's like....
