I have only had 2 professional haircuts my whole life, I had my mom do it when I was younger but prolly since I was 13 or so I've been cutting my own hair, I wouldn't be scared, just cut in small increments if you are scared of messing up!

I tend to not take my own advice though, luckily I haven't ever screwed up too bad lol
