  • yes the real mastercom b siren not v con version

  • I remember ten years ago the QLD, Auistralia emergency services used the Code 3s - when my neighbours had fights (which was often) I would always see the cops running only one rotator to save on power draw so they could use the radios - a couple of years back there was a huge brawl outside my house with half the street and that was the only time I saw all three rotators on and the street lit up like a Christmas tree.

  • how is that hooked up?

  • @TheJosh55500 The light bar is analog and has a harness with wires for various lights. The bar just needs 12v applied to different wires to cause the function such as specific rotors to turn on. An example of this is that you might apply 12v to the outer rotor wire, which will turn on the end rotors and bulbs in the rotors. Nothing complicated.

  • Good sounding siren.

  • @kitesurfer1404 That was excelent! There is no video on youtube that shows the MX7000 and different options. I cant decide between a Whelen edge and a Code 3 MX7000 for my pov. Which would you suggest...and what are the pros and cons for both?

  • @tjet55 Both have a lot of options by now. Both have strobe and LED-versions. I love the MX7000 with halogen and rotators. I has a very very good lightoutput. I think the MX is a classical halogen-lightbar. Don't put strobes or LEDs into it.

The edge is not that high and has lower amp-draw with strobes and/or LEDs inside. I like the LED-edge. Whelen has very very good LED-modules. But it might be not that cheap as a MX7000.

Go for the MX7000! ;) Check the elightbars :org forums for good offers.

  • @kitesurfer1404 True, it does seem the MX 7000 has more features than the edge, and cheaper. 1 more question I cant find anywhere online...When you get the new Code 3 lightbar, someone said it comes with slow speed rotation and somehow you have to work in it in able to control slow and highspeed rotation? do you have to purchase another control box, or how to do you do it lol? And hey thanks for the info! :D

  • @tjet55 I can't say, where to buy them new. I live in Germany, so most stuff from the US is used and bought via ebay or internet-forums. Maybe you can contact the guys at sirennet :com for a quote. There are a lot of order-options. Visit the Code3 website. There you'll find all order-numbers of this lightbar.

The difference betweet fast and slow rotators are the gears. Becaus this lightbar is completely analog controlled, you just need to connect ground and +12V. No special switch-boxes needed.

  • What do your neighbors think when they hear all those sirens? lol

  • hi mate whats that gold thing is it like a relay or somthing plz reply

  • @beaconslightbars999 That is a power resistor. It is dissipating excess power from the siren output in order to keep the speaker from being overloaded. These siren boxes put out a LOT of power and do not have volume control. No resistor = waking up the neighbors or burning out the speaker, whichever comes first. Using the resistor, a smaller speaker can be used for demo purposes without damaging anyones hearing.

  • what sire is that???? cause i like it and want one.

  • What did you use to power it? I have a good lightbar just not enough amps to power it.

  • what is the model number

  • is the siren fore sale?

  • dude u could have your own little rave!

  • Unitrol Touchmaster still the best. Most insistent tones, demands attention.

  • Was soll man da noch sagen...GEIL :)

  • wear did you get it or find it all

  • I want 1.

  • i love that :D

  • GENIAL!!

  • how much do those cost???

  • this is the best siren out there...

  • from 00:44 seconds theres that 'dinging' sound which i love lol, and that is the exact same lightbar my dad used on his cop car and its gone now 'cause he got in a wreck and died on "impact"

  • @lightbarsandmore yea most police and fire chiefs uses it!

  • Toronto Police Department uses these sirens!

  • is the siren for sale

  • toronto police use this

  • That is damn cool.

  • yup my 92 is 72" wide, Sweet

  • Can ya fit a 69" mx7000 on top of a bronco?

  • y dont u measure...

  • I wanna get a 69" for my yukon, would that be too long or just right, the width of the truck is 79"

  • im sure that would work fine..

  • about how mutch was this the light bar and siren?

  • Comment removed

  • do you have a video where you let each siren run without interrupting..

  • what battery was it wired to

  • was wired to a 50A power-supply

  • @kitesurfer1404 HEY COULD YOU PLEASE HOOK ME UP WITH A CODE 3 MASTERCOME SIREN/RLS DEALER????????????????????

  • @ericthesoldier Galls Inc. Check em out

  • Where do you get a 50A power-supply?

  • @skrills09 any specialty electronics store sells power supplies, usually lower than 50A though but you can find them online everywhere

  • ah this really makes me miss my old MX7000 when I used to pov. Of course in reality it makes me miss all halogen bars.... just about all the departments around here have gone LED/STROBE combination ... halogen flashers if your lucky.

  • Question. i have a mastercom installed on my POV, but the tones are code 3 tones. how did you change your tones around.

  • The newer code 3 mastercoms have more a vcon sounding tone, this is an older model mastercom.

  • hey can u tell me how much was your resister and do the make it from 200 wats to a 50 watts and what kind of power supplie do u have like brand and model?

  • what lighting is there on the rear of the lightbar? you probably dont have them wired up

  • Hey how is it powered? What kind of plug does it use or can you convert it?

  • totally love this siren an hearing it in san francisco ! :P they use the air horn A LOT ;) also love the high wail

  • (loud noise from lights)

  • where did u get these stuff?

if it is unsafe to speak here please pm me!

  • ebay or from other collectors

  • @kitesurfer1404 You can buy them online brand new too, more expensive but you have more freedom to choose exactly what you want. Just type in code 3 light bar in google

  • very nice bro

  • That looks hella fun, dude. Very nice!

  • Where did you get everything you have in there: siren, speaker, lightbar, and controller.

I would like the same exact one you have very interested for my fire dept.

    Please Contact Back.

    Volunteer Firefighter.

  • Lightbar is from ebay but I added al lot of stuff. The speaker was in the middle of the lightbar and I replaced that speaker-part with a center-section with rotator. Siren is from ebay, too. It was described very badly, so I got it for a few euros. Here in Germany it's not that easy to get US lights and sirens. In the US try ebay or sirennet, if you want stuff like that.

  • awesome video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cool

    how did you get them

  • Comment removed

  • IS there anywhere u can actually buy these?

  • sirennet

    .

    com

  • the one boro police dept in my county has these sirens...i loooove the yelp!

  • the mx7000 is amazing but im sorry to say i hate the siren

  • I like the Wail, but the Yelp is sorta wierd

  • Can you please do a demo of the MasterCom only? I'm looking to hear the full wail and yelp siren tones :) Thanks

  • i like the video but personaly i like the LEDs better. but still yours is cool

  • I am a DJ and have that exact lightbar and exact switch box. Could you email me the schematics on how to hook all of it up and how you power it? I have a converter from 110v to 12v. I didn't know if maybe you could help me get it going.

  • Hey I am just learning this myself, I just bought a lightbar like this but haven't received it yet but have done some research. You need a 50 amp 12 volt powersupply. Ill have to figure out how to hook it up. Try to look up an electronics store (not radio shack or a chain retailer) and see if they can help

  • OK siren the hi-lo is the best I think, also the hyper yelp, the wail and yelp are OK, and the Air horn sounds like a FART!

  • i really must say i have had a qwicky at ur site and DAM u have done some work to that lightbar great job :D

  • thanks. lightbars were a lot of work (website too...) but as a collector you don't ask for that.

  • i have a small rotary amber and a blue strobe but i would really like to have a lightbar as good as that one

  • mad how much did u pay for this lightbar

  • about 80 Euros for the lightbar in blue/blue with speaker grill. than a lot for all the parts. the are imported from the US or via ebay because it's not that easy to get these parts in germany.

visit my website for more details and other lights:

  • link added in the description on the right side ->

  • okey thanks

  • How much did you pay for the controller?

  • i can't say that for sure. it was from ebay and was decribed as "radio". I think it was about 20€ incl. shipping :D

  • is it for sale?

  • no ;-)

  • where are you getting the power source from?

  • I use a 12V battry charger

  • lights on lightbar are really loud

  • They ARE loud so the people who gave you thumbs down must not have had there volume turned up!!

  • I read somewhere that the brand new rotators you can buy are quiet

  • yea most are now. they have different forms of rubber drives rather than mechanical gears.

  • Hey I just got my own MX7000! I will post a video of it soon

  • sweet.. pending my license for lighting, i'll probably get an MX. can't beat the price now.. they go for $99 used on ebay, then you can find lenses for $10 ea. I'll just add some LED's for front wig-wags and call it good :p

  • I was searching for some extra takedown lights but cant find them anywhere, also what would be a good LED module I could but in the front center under the center rotator?

  • PA works but I had no idea what to say ;-)

  • where did u get it?

  • he said eBay..

  • SAY I LOVE SATAN!

  • i got one myself and was wondering if you're able to talk thru the pa?

  • how much did you pay for that and did you oreder direct form code3Pse

  • the mastercom is from ebay. i think it was something like 20 € or so, because it was described very bad.

the MX7000 is from ebay, too. i payed 80 €. but i ordered a lot of red/blue stuff from the US.

ordering from code3 may be not so cheap.

  • fakt mazec

  • good stuff

  • Kinda of sounds like a unitrole but not really.

  • sounds nothing like a unitrol to me. the wail sounds like a better version of the smart siren and the hi lo sounds like a pa300

  • Not really.

  • I was looking for a web site that i could download the new code3 tones

  • do you know of a web site with that siren that i could download the siren tone?

  • Hi,

    galls. com / techsupport.html#siren

    ^^ remove spaces
